The generator powered a cutting tool used to drill holes in the pier to anchor the safety railing on the walkway. The exciting auction of a large variety of items donated by local merchants and St. Lucie County residents will begin at 11 a.m. Items purchased at the auction may be gift wrapped by local Girl Scout troop members participating in the event. The 'Kids Activities Tent, sponsored by the St. Lucie County Recreation Department, will involve elementary school youngsters in holiday arts and crafts projects and games to test mental and handeye coordination. The children will learn how to make a reindeer puppet and beaded necklaces and wristbands, as well as colorful spin art designs. Viewers will trace the path of the. mysterious star followed by the Wise Men.
