National Contest (open to members and non-members) in various styles (Form, Free Verse or Metered andor Rhymed). Only poems written according to the rules of Form, i.e., Sonnet, Villa-nelle, Pantoum, Cinquain, etc., are to be entered into the Form category. . Local Contest (open to primary residents of Palm Beach, Martin, Dade or Broward counties, members and non-members) in the same styles. ; Poets who enter the local category may also enter the national category. : Prizes for first place will be $50, second place, $35, third place, $20. An entry fee of $1 per poem must be submitted or poems will not be accepted or returned. Members paid for 1998 may submit three poems for $2. You may become a member or renew your dues for 1998 by including a check for $15 with your entry fee. Entries must be typed on one side of 8V4-by-l 1-inch paper, single or double spaced with a 39-line limit. Send two copies of each poem showing the category on both copies in the upper left-hand corner. Poets entering in the Form category must also include the form.
