On Thursdays, "What's It All About," a contemporary comedy revue starring Dean Jones and produced by Saul Ilson and Ernest Chambers, the original producers of "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour," will be seen from 9 to 10 p.m. "The Ugliest Girl in Town" and "Journey to The Unknown" are being canceled and "The Flying Nun" goes into the 7:30 p.m. time slot and "That Girl" moves up to 8 p.m. Three new shows are being introduced on Fridays "The Tom Jones Show," a musical variety program with the British singing star and guests, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., "Generation Gap" a game show pitting one generation against another, from 8:30 to 9 p.m., and "Let's Make A Deal," a nighttime version of the daytime game show at 9 p.m. Scheduled to get the ax are "Operation: Entertainment," "Felony Squad" and "The Don RicklesShow." The Columbia Broadcasting System had previously announced that "The Glenn Campbell Show" would replace "Daktari" on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. starting Jan. 29. Reports that "Blondie" may also be canceled are being discounted by network sources.
