According to information reaching here, foreign diplomat ic1 missions in Peking have been barred from obtaining any newspapers except the official Com munist party organ, Jenmin .1 ih P.ao, and a secondary olficial paper, Kwang Ming Jill 1'AO. Members of the missions who have tried to buy copies of the other Peking Newspapers or of ported similar restrictions there. They have been able to buy only .lenmin Jin Pao. The Cutting down of papers available to foreigners in Communist China follows the choking olt of the Red (,uard Press, which formerly contained much news of factional conflicts by Peking leaders. The lesser Peking papers and the provincial journals customarily have not contained a great deal ot news.
