' "v,.. 5" Legends tourney, brunch to serve up Hope House support The Virginia Slims Legends tennis tournament will return to the Del-ray Beach Tennis Center Saturday and Sunday for the tour's season finale. The finale will benefit Hope House of the Palm Beaches Inc., which will host a champagne brunch from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday at Old School Square in Delray Beach. During the brunch, tennis champion Billie Jean King will auction tennis memorabilia, with proceeds going to Hope House. The tennis tournament will feature King, Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova, Tracy Austin, Pam Shriver, Zina Garrison, Evonne Goolagong, Virginia Wade, Rosie Casals and liana Kloss. Evert and Navratilova will be team captains of the two-day event, which will include doubles and singles matches. They will compete against each other in singles matches both days. I ' f til ' i Boca Museum benefits from golf tourney The Boca Raton Museum of Art's third annual Golf Tournament will be Monday at Polo Trace Golf Club in Delray Beach. The tournament will benefit the Boca Raton Museum of Art and its efforts to move to a new site in Mizner Park. Stuart Flaum and Joseph Mi-kita are tournament co-chairmen for the second year. Registration is $175 per person and includes green and cart fees; golf gift packages; refreshment carts during play; raffle tickets for prizes; and a luncheon and awards ceremony in the club house. The day will start with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. The format will be a modified four-person scramble.
