Assistant hostesses for the meeting were Mrs. Clay Neal, Mrs. Ray Wood, Mrs. Pearl Trible. Mrs. Elizabeth Wagner, Mrs. William Dutell and Mrs. Georglana Anderson. Twenty -two members attended the meeting. Following the luncheon, Miss Zoe Sharp gave the scripture reading and Mrs. Manship presented the Btory, "The Fourth WlBe Man." During the business session, plans were made to buy metal sponges which are again available. The home was beautifully decorated in keeping with the Christmas season and gifts were exchanged. Guests To Arrive At Brown Residence Over Week End Mrs. Mabel Brown of the Liberty apartments is expecting her son, Lt. Charles E. Brown and wife as week end guests. Lt. Brown has been serving tor the past two years in the Atlantic area. His wife has been living In New York. Another son, Robert, who is an athletic specialist In Chicago will also arrive this week end. His wife has been making her home with Mrs. Brown of Clinton. This will be the first meeting in two years for the Brown brothers. For The Christmas Belle . . . Yes, and Mother and Baby too... Jivin Janes Report On Two Eecent Club Meetings Two meetings of (lie Jivin Janes iave been lield recently. The first neeting was lipid at the home of f iss Dorothy Helen Guinn. An elec-ion of officers was held with the ollowlng results: Miss Guinn was lected president; Helen Louise lope, secretary-reporter and Ooro-hy Snowberry, treasurer. These of-'lceg were held recenty by Norma feane Weir, president; Khlrley Cott-ell, secretary-reporter and Dorothy aft, treasurer. Refreshments were served and a general discussion of the club rules as held. A more recent meeting was held it the home of Nornialee Konopka. The new officers presided at this lee ting. Committees were appointed for vork at the school carnival. Re-reshments were served and dancing vas enjoyed by those present. Those attending were Misses Dor-ithy Helen Guinn. Norma Jane Veir, Shirley Oottrell, Helen Louise lope, Dorothy Craft, Dorothy Snow-terry, Juanita Jackson and the hos-ess. The next meeting will be held at he home of Shirley Cottrell. Patty Lou Howell Observes Third Birthday at Party Mrs. Arthur Howell of South Sev-jnth street entertained Sunday af-ernoon from 2 to 4 p. m with a (lrtnday party honoring the third lrthday of her daughter, Patty Lou.
