Pompano are biting on the beach on sand fleas, which are scarce, or on cut shrimp. PALM BEACH COUNTY Fishing from the beach at Blowing Rocks last Wednesday, David Ball caught five bluefish, one jack and one croaker using cut bait and cut shrimp according to Eydie at Inlet Bait and Tackle. Another angler in the same location at Blowing Rocks fishing off a boat caught and released four tarpon, all more than 100 pounds, on cut ballyhoo. Captain Jeff Sacks' party caught two snook, 12 ladyflsh, and a dozen jack crevalles on jigs on Thursday 2. MARTIN COUNTY Lloyd, at Mitchell's Bait and Tackle in Port Salerno said not many charter boats have been offshore because of rough seas. Some are finding scattered dolphin and a few kingfish.
