Jtalm Beach Post-Times, Sunday, Nov. 10, 1968 C15 What To Wear fy here Anything W ith Movement y r After the elegance of Flagler Museum, there's only one thing to do, have dinner at an elegant French restaurant. A ruffly blouse, black velvet skirt, sheer black stockings and black shoes with large dancing bows or a bare velvet shortie with a back covered only by straps with velvet ribbon threaded through sparkling beads will make any Frenchman say, "Voila! " But although velvet and jewels are lovely, in Florida don't forget sun glasses, sandals, and, above all, suntan oil. By DIEDRA VAN DUZEE What to wear where in the Palm Beaches. A variety of things to do calls for a variety of outfits from a sandy day at the beach to an intimate dinner at the Petite Marmite. For the beach bikinis are definitely what to wear with a sheer short, short cover up and sandals for the hot sand. Those who want more activity than lying on a beach can take a brisk bike ride along the scenic Lake Trail to glance at some of the gracious Palm Beach homes and enjoy a fresh breeze from the lake. Go biking in leather cu- lottes with a leather vest and a French cuffed shirt. If the energy is still surging, a night at Trudy Hellers discotheque could be just the thing. Appear in a pants suit with long jacket and wide straight legs or a loose easy-to-move-in mini dress, perhaps a sleeveless navy with a wide white vertical band meeting a wide horizontal band at the waist. Dress it up with a signature scarf, sheer navy stockings and strap shoes or go casual in bare legs and sandals. A quick change into a tropically vivid hostess gown or pajamas with legs as wide as a skirt and oeo up for the patio party.
