The foursome jnanaged to plow every chorus for its melodic explosive-ness, even when the songs ran contrary to such intentions. These were artificial Christmas trees of carols, bathed in the " insincere glow of cheap holiday lights. One kept wondering when Kathie Lee Gifford was going to make her entrance with The Little Drummer Boy. -' Not that the singers don't have voices. Bryson and Ingram are smooth and easy tenors, and Austin is a jazzy diva who deserves a , tion of the naturally charming Austin, the singers don't know how to ' convey an honest emotion and it comes through in their plastic renditions. Or even worse, in their between-song banter. To hear Bryson talk about how this is the "most astute" audience he's ever seen is to know he's fed that same line to the folks in Peoria. (Here's hoping that the "astute" audience in Peoria didn't have the bad taste to rush the exits before the final song was finished.) In all, The Colors of Christmas offers music and lots of it. But then, so do K-Tel collections. em ac.WPEC. The owner of the boat, . Donald Kania, 38, of Boynton Beach, and passengers Glaze Felton, of Lake Worth, and Jimmy Ilerrell, address unknown, were in the boat to go snapper fishing when they heard popping noises from the engine just before it exploded. A nearby fisherman pulled the men from the water. Felton complained of minor ankle pain and was transported by Boynton Beach Fire-Rescue to Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Ledford said. The 1973 Chris-Craft boat's motor appears to have had a fuel or electrical malfunction, Ledford said. The fire, which had flames as high as 30 feet, destroyed the fishing boat. n . miles . 4 Authorized Agent of (2) BELL SOUTH Mobility' i (wmonthly service plan) FT. LAUDERDALE PEMBROKE PINES & 1539 E.
