Chatting with Hollywood TV-moving picture star Chris Robinson (TV's 'Twelve O'Clock High" series, etc.), his lovely wife Phylis, and some movieland friends who attended the recent reopening of the Arthur James Auction Galleries in Delray Beach, we learned that the original "Dolly," Carol Channing will be among headliners houseguesting at Palm Beach this coming season. Also mentioned were Robert Goulet, Joan Crawford and several other Great Names in the Theatah we didn't need to ask where Miss Crawford would stay; her favorite rooftree in Palm Beach Is the handsome South Ocean Boulevard estate of her longtime close friends Helene and Roy Tuchbreiter. Someone volunteered the suggestion that Miss Channing might take pot luck at the palatial Palm Beach digs of former Hollywood leading lady Gregg Sherwood Dodge (now Mrs. Daniel) Moran. We were able to confirm the time of Miss Channing's "official" arrival in Florida: Irving Cowan, president of the Diplomat hotel and country club down Hollywood-by-the-Sea way, sez Miss Channing will be headlining at his hostelry right after the Christmas holidays . . . By the bye, handsome actor Robinson presents his inaugural producing effort for the Delray Playhouse this coming Friday night (through Nov. 16), the Broadway comedy "Love in E Flat," with pretty newcomer to the Playhouse Paige Sosnoskl making her debut in a leading role . . .
