"TP?bn.?e?ch Post Friday, November 1, 1968 WHAT UDdDES AM IELffiCCTIEIID (OFFECCIAIL TMffi TOETTNAM WAUB? As Americans we all are vitally concerned with the Vietnam war. Our sons, our friends, our neighbors are being killed over there. It is a war that mystifies us. Elected officials in Palm Beach County our judges, our county commissioners, our supervisor of elections, our state attorney . . . they are concerned as you are, but what can they do about the war? Does not the decision rest firmly on the President of the United States? . . It wouldn't be fair or intelligent to blame a qualified man who is seeking election on the county Democratic ticket merely because a man over a thousand miles away hasn't found the right solution to bring a terrible war to an honorable end. We must elect our county officials on their qualifications, their platforms, their knowledge of the job they seek. Party labels are just that . "labels". On November Fifth, vote for the QUALIFIED MAN on the county leveFTT". clonTvote for a "label". Besides . . . what's the difference between a Democratic Judge and a Republican Judge? A Democratic State Attorney or a Republican State Attorney? A Democratic Supervisor of Elections and a Republican Supervisor of Elections! Good Question! PAW THE DEMOCRATIC EXECUTIVE. COMMITTEE OF BEACH CUNTY. BETTY ALLEN, PRESIDENT, ROBERT SCOTT, TREASURER.
