The Asian Sun Delight ($9.95) was a tasty mix of chicken, beef, pork and shrimp with mixed vegetables in a spicy sauce. 1 ordered this medium-hot, but probably would have liked it with a little more heat. The meat was tender and could be easily cut with a knife, but the beef was a little too fat for my taste. From the Thai menu, the generous portion of Pad Thai ($8.95) was very unusual, with a hint of curry flavor in the usual peanut-flavored dish. Unlike many restaurant's Pad Thai, ii was not too sweet. The Panama Curry with vegetables ($7.95) had just the right mix of heat and spice. We passed on dessert: the generous portions had left us loo full. We have been to Asian Sun a number of times and found the fixxJ to be tasty and consistent. It offers Chinese take-out combination dinners (not available if you eat in) with entree, pork fried rice and egg roll from S5.25-S6.95. which is hard to beat. So the next time you want Oriental food but can't choose a cuisine, try Asian Sun and make everyone happv. Asian Sun is located at 5879 S Congress Ave. in the shoppes of . (561) 967- 0333 v wSK,, mm m By Mark Dickerson tuti JItm, Ii W Stall Ever have one of those nights when you want Thai food, your spouse has a craving for sushi and your kids want Chinese? Asian Sun in the Shoppes of Atlantis has the solution. It offers Chinese. Thai and Japanese menus as well as a sushi bar. The interior of the strip mall restaurant is plain. Don't expect elabo--rate decorations or waiters in tuxes. You're here for the food, remember? On a recent visit, our party of four tried to sample a variety of cuisines. We started with three appetizers: cheese won-tons. Tekka Tuna roll and chicken satay. These cheese won-tons (eight for $2.25) were light, but there wasn't much cheese inside. The chicken satay (S5.95) asa little tough, but the chicken was flavorful and the peanut sauce was fantastic. The Tekka-Tuna mil ($3.50) was a great value. It was cut inlo six large pieces, and was fresh and full of flavor. Afier feasting on the appetizers, we were given sieaming mounds of white rice for our entrees, which come w ith choice of soup or salad. Off the Chinese menu, the Se-chuan chicken ($8.95) was very tasty, with large pieces of chicken and' vegetables in a spicy sauce. If you order this "hot." you better be rin. aT Wm iKMI llltlll I'JJalamWIBTV I I 1 I I I I Ufll'A( muuuii- I J A .1 J aai W i rata rfliim. WrJ?
