It' ' f. 4 - Marshall and Marietta Leeds Marlena and Marshall Leeds have been named honorary chairpersons of the annual American Cancer Society 3(X) Gala. The event will be April 18 at the Delray Beach Marriott. The board of directors of the South Palm Beach County Unit of the Cancer Society will host the ACS 3X) Gala. Marshall Leeds is chief executive officer and president of JW Charles Securities, which is title sponsor of the event. The evening will feature music from the band Boca Brass and an auction. Auction items include two airline tickets courtesy of LanChile Airlines. Proceeds will help support cancer research: local education programs for adults and children; and services for cancer patients and their families, including transportation, lodging, support groups, summer camp for children with cancer, and college scholarships for cancer survivors. All Cancer Society programs and services are free and are funded through donations. An eight -person table will help underwrite the cost of one child's onc-wt k stay at K.O.C.K.
