Palm Beach Post Staff and Wire Reports WEST PALM BEACH A Boca Raton printing company has bought Advertisers Press Inc., which has been in business for 38 years. Mike Kind, president of JKG Group in Boca Ra-I k ton, said Monday he bought the 111 DrieT West Palm Beach-based print-ing company Sept 1 from Thomas and Betty Hubbard. Half of Advertisers' 30 employees lost their jobs in the buyout JKG has 90 employees and provides color offset printing and direct mailings. Wackenhut to do Oak Ridge lab security PALM BEACH GARDENS The Wackenhut Corp. (NYSE: WAK, $22.50) said Monday it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Energy Department for security at its Oak Ridge, Tenn., National Laboratory. The annual revenue for the three-year contract will be $75 million, with an option for two additional years. Wackenhut is based in Palm Beach Gardens. It employs 1,240 people in Palm Beach County. Travel Services calls off meeting DELRAY BEACH Travel Services International said Monday the company's annual meeting, which had been scheduled for today at the Delray Beach Marriott, has been postponed because- iff Hurricane Floyd. The company expects to"' reschedule the annual meeting after the storm passes.
