Each home will have a minimum of 2,200 square feet, and will include an extensive garden area, cathedral and vaulted ceilings, a fireplace and optional swimming pool. Landscaped bermes and heavy foliage will lend privacy and exclu-siveness to the development, says Betty Day, real estate sales associate with Talbott & Drake, Inc. Owner-developer is John H. Construction started the first of April and thus far has cost about $280,000. The contemporary-style brick building contains 9,700 square feet of leasable space. Construction work on the remaining office space about 7,000 square feet will be done as leases are approved. The building contains one elevator. Parking is available for 57 vehicles and covered underground parking is provided for doctors and staff. Architectural work was done by Ardel A. Kisko of West Palm Beach. Overland Construcion Co. By DOYIE-SPENCER, INC. CG-CA03058 A building permit was issued this past week for phase II of the North-wood Medical Center at 26th Street and E. Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. Construction is expected to start just after the first of the year and should take about six months, according to architect Stephen J. Ginocchio. Phase I construction consisted of a three-story building containing doctors' offices. The new building also will have three floors and will be connected to the older one by a bridge on the second floor. In the new building, the first floor will be used for a 56-space parking lot. The other floors will contain from 12 to 14 offices. Approximate cost of the 15,800-square-foot structure is $400,000, Ginocchio said. Dr. Raymond Preefer of West Palm Reach is the owner. Mechanical-electrical engineer is Arnold I. Chane of West Palm Beach. Structural engineer is Houha & Harry & Associates Inc. of twmm Model units for Tiburon II Townhomes in Boca Raton will be under construction beginning Dec. 13, says Pete Vasallo, project manager. Tiburon, located on Camino Real and Power Line Road, eventually will include as many as 100 single-and two-story units in the $60,000 price range. Grand opening is scheduled for next year. The apartments will contain from 1,600 to 2,000 square feet. Two-bed Bethesda Memorial Hospital has received a certificate of needs from directors of the Health Planning Council Inc., for its next planned construction project. Project 11, so named because it is the 11th building program at Bethesda, will cost an estimated $4 million ami will include roughly 20,000 square feet, says Tom Eddy, staff member of the Health Planning Council.
