Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio with full military honors. Austin was born in Missouri May 14, 1934. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he retired from the Navy in 1973 after twenty years' service. He married Barbara Bode in Jacksonville, Jun.

25, 1973, and had lived in Kerrville since 1978. He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, former chairman of the Disaster Team of the Kerr County Chapter of the American Red Cross, life member of Disabled American Veterans, and a member of Fleet Reserve Association, Elks Lodge 2081, and VFW Post 1480. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Austin; four sons, Major Thomas Harwood of Fort Bragg, N.C., Guy Harwood of Durham, N.C., Joseph Harwood of Jacksonville, and CPO Kenneth Harwood of Bangor, Washington; a brother, Clyde Austin of Orlando, a sister, Helen Dickman of Danville, Iowa; and eight grandchildren. may be made to the American Heart Fund or American Red Cross.

Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Holleron William Kelly Holleron, 8Q, of Medina, passed away Thursday, August 20, 1987 in the V.A. Medial Center, Kerrville. Holleron, a Medina resident for four years, a prior resident of Houston, was born on Oct. 15, 1906 in Navarro County.

He married Juanita Lorraine Perks 31, 1970 in Houston. He was a Mechanical Engineer in the Oil Industry for 32 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in San Leon, Texas; a member of the Masonic Lodge of Houston; a member of the Knights Templer, the American Legion Post No. 291 of San Leon. He served in the United States Army in World War II.

Survivors include: wife, Mrs. Juanita Holleron of Medina; one daughter-, Barbara Gay Pearson of Houston; and step-daughter, Judith Bearnard of Jacksonville, son, William Kelly Holleron, Jr. of Houston; and stop-son, Jack Moman of Oklahoma; two brothers, Tom I Hplleron and Bob Holleron, both iof San Antonio; and five 'grandchildren. I Funeral services will be held jut Grimes Funeral Chapels, Saturday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m.

i Violeta LeMay, 62, of ville, died Wednesday at her home, Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Born in Argentina March 8, 1925, she was a former longtime resident of Houston where she had been a secretary for an 'oil tool company. She had lived in Kerrville since 1984. Preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred H. LeMay, in 1957, she is survived by two sons, John Patrick LeMay and Richard Barry LeMay, both of San Francisco, one sister, Lilliana Lee of Ontario, one granddaughter, Rose LeMay; and a friend, Forrest Landry of Kerrville.

Memorials may be made to the Heart of the Hills Hospice. Kerrville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Kerr Phillip David Kerr, 59, of passed away 19, at his residence. Kerr, a Kerrville resident Jf-'inee 1965, was born on April 1928 in Newton Upper Falls, Mass. He was a member of the Legion.

Survivors include: wife, Mrs. IJazel G. Kerr of KerrviJJe; one lep-son, Foster Morgan of Mt. South Carolina; two ibters, Mary J. Pejjzo of ewtou, Mass, and Carol rlcGrath of Woschester, )ue brother, Daniel Ken-, Jr.

Ben Clements officiating for Kenneth Edgar Young, 61, of Kerrville, who passed away Thurs- 20, in the VA MediejJL Center. He was a Kerrville resident for 9 years, a prior resident of Devine, and was born on February 26, 1926 in San Antonio.

He married Betty Joyce Dye on June 15, 1950 in Natalia. He worked for the City Public Services Board Electric Company of San Antonio, for 23 years. He was a member of the Sidney Baker Church of Christ and a member of the City Public Service Board Co. of San Antonio. He served in the United States Navy in World War II.

Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Betty J. Young of Kerrville; parents, Clovis and Nora Young of Devine; two daughters, Karen Sheppard of Los Alamos, New Mexico and Sharon Messec of Moore; two sons; Ken Young of Brownfield and Brian Young of Kerrville; two sisters, Marjorie Pollard of Salinas, California and Norma Hassmann of San Antonio; and eight grandchildren. Graveside services will held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Monday, August 24, at 11 a.m.

E.R. Brown had cataract surgery at Audie Murphy, but is back at Fredricksburg Nursing Home with his wife. Last week Ola Mae Armstrong took her parents, Chester and Bessie Itz, to visit with old friends. At Moscow they visitetf Rev. and Mrs.

Walter and with a number of friends at Beaumont. They returned by Sunday, and attended the baptism of Justine Mae Armstrong at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church at Canyon Lake. Elizabeth Rahe had her entire family home this weekend from the Fort worth area in order to help enjoy the visit of their brother, Hardin, who is here with his family from Auburn, Alabama. Gene and Betty Rahe and sons (who had been visiting their grandmother all week), Shirlene and Richard Cowie, and Lorna and Dick Donahus and family.

We are wondering how many in the Harper area would be interested in receiving Meals on Wheels five days a week, if we could get them out of Fredericksburg each day about noon. Thanks to the churches that have been gathering food for the Help Center, There has been quite a bit of activity on Monday afternoon after 3 p.m. There is still a need for outgrown children's clothes. The governments commodities will be nt the Help Center on the last day of August for those who qualify. The Senior Citizens will hove games and at the Lutheran Church on September 1, at 2 p.m.
