964-1652. After 5PM, 483- 6231. "I ain't gonna let none of these girls get hurt," he says. Crowds have been jamming the club since the wrestling started a month ago, with the muddy mayhem sandwiched between a standup comic and a topless dance routine. Men and women alike, they stand and scream for blood.

Crazy Patty, a crowd favorite, is Patricia Metzinger, 28, a former waitress and mother of a 14-month-old baby, who was too shy to become a go-go dancer. She didn't want to take off her top. "But I'm an exhibitionist probably," Patty said. "I just got turned on by that mud. I can't hide liking it.

And the funny thing is, I've never been in a fight before in my life." No so with Vicky. She has seven sisters and two brothers and says, "I use to wrestle with them all the time at home." she wins. "It kind of builds me up inside. I guess it's my way of saying size doesn't mean nothing." The women, all allegedly amateurs who answered an ad in the local newspaper, wrestle four 3-minute rounds in a 12-by-12 foot ring with 3 to 6 inches of clay mud spread over a foam pad. They start with some clothes on.

Super Body, for example, wears a Superman T-shirt and the Boubon Street Fox has on a filmy nitie. It really makes little difference. By the end of the first round the tops have been snatched off and their bodies are covered with goo. A referee wearing bib overalls and brogans squirts water in their face to wash the mud out of their eyes. He is Jack Thomas, a professional wrestler for 12 years himself, who takes a paternal interest in his girls.

CASSELBERRY (UPI) Like a chocolate-coated Grecian statue come to life, little Vicky Harvey squirmed out of the muck amid the howls of a packed house and flung a fistful of mud at a bald-headed gentleman who had offended her, Then, with a girl in the audience yelling "knock the hell out of her," she flung her 95 pounds at her nearly-naked adversary in a geyser of slush and slime. Their slippery bodies entangled a free-for-all in an indoor hog wallow and a ringside announcer kept saying "somebody's pants are coming off." It was amateur female mud wrestling night at the Club Juana, an idea borrowed from German bistros by club owner Mike Pinter. "I really get off on it," said Vicky, a diminutive 5-foot-l blonde from Evansville, who wrestles three nights a week for pay ranging from $40 to $60 a night, depending on whether ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS For helo. An Elizabeth, N.J., teenager has been sentenced to 40 years imprisonment for the robbery-murder of an elderly Miami Beach man last June 29. Louis D. Tucker, 18, was sentenced Wednesday by Union County Court Judge Richard P. Muscatello in the death of Benjamin Chesnar. Tucker pleaded guilty to murder and robbery charges Oct, 26 Chesnar was slain during a visit with relatives here.

He was beaten to death with a three-foot section of wood while walking his dog. Tucker's probation report said the defendant admitted he killed and robbed Chesnar to support a heroin habit. Elderly Men Die in Gulf TAMPA An apparent collision of two boats in the Gulf of Mexico has taken the lives of two elderly fishermen and a third is missing, the Coast Guard reported yesterday. A spokeman said the victims were Einar Johnson, 72, and George Walters, 85, both of New Port Richey. The missing man is Robert Valentine, 56, also of New Port Richey.

The Coast Guard said crewmen aboard the tugboat Admiral Leffler said they thought they might have hit another smaller boat north of here Wednesday, but they couldn't be sure. A search produced the bodies of the two victims and some debris from their 18-foot boat, which apparently had sank. The search for Valentine was continued yesterday. Escapee Held in Tennessee WAVERLY, Tenn. A Florida prison escapee was being held in the Waverly jail on three out-of-state charges, including kidnaping, after his arrest with a young woman who was reported missing two months ago, police said.

The man was identified as William Miles Gaskins, 28, of Macon, who had been serving time in the Florida state prison on an armed robbery charge. The woman was not identified. Waverly officer Ted Tarpley said Gaskins was apprehended after his companion, 17, allegedly tried to exchange groceries for money at a store. Computers for Program TALLAHASSEE The state is planning to use computers to fight food-stamp fraud. A pilot program will be started in Jacksonville in February and there are plans to expand it statewide, said Frank Youngblood, spokesman for Family Services Program.

Each recipient of food stamps will be issued a card with a number, probably his Social Security number. This will be fed into a computer to determine if he is drawing food stamps in any other county. Theoretically, a person could apply for food stamps in all 67 counties and the state might not know it because no central record is kept. Youngblood said he doubted that much double collection was going on but that in such a fast-growing program there is bound to be some fraud. The computer operation also will cut down on administrative costs, causing Florida severe problems because of the rapid growth of the stamp program and a drop in state revenue, he said.

The federal government pays all the costs of the stamps but only half the cost of administering the program. The number of people receiving the stamps in Florida increased from 650,000 last December to in June. The value of the stamps rose from $23.5 million to million, Youngblood said. 10 4112 Garden.
