Nature, obviously, played the starring role in 1947's passing show, as far as the Palm Beaches and this county are concerned.

Concurrently in '47, international events marched to the solemn and terrifying tune of atomic energy and rumors of war, but, meanwhile, there occurred in the Palm Beaches' area many events of local interest events worth recalling as the new year arrives.
