He was a retired civil service firefighter and assistant fire chief at Ellington Field. He was in the Army during WWII and a Senior Master Sergeant in the Air Force Reserve at Ellington Field. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Santa Fe, Texas, and a Liberal Arts student at College of the Mainland for 12 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Louise Culbreth.

Mr. Culbreth is survived by his sons, A.J. Culbreth Sr. and wife, Delia of Santa Fe, Texas, A.B. Culbreth Jr.

and wife, Betteye of Friendswood, Texas, and M. Michael Culbreth and wife, Janet of Orange, Texas; granddaughter Nanette C. Weimer and husband Fred of Pearland, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; forty great- grandchildren; four great-great- grandchildren and numerous other relatives, friends and "hunting Pallbearers will be C.B. He had been a resident of Dickinson since 1970.

Johnny was a computer salesman for Sears at Baybrook Mall. He served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1975 and was a Vietnam veteran. Mr. Copeland is preceded in death by his father, Johnny S.

Copeland. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mae and John Hede, of Dickinson; sister brother-in-law, Cathy and Mike Henderson of Bacliff; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Kathy Copeland of Dickinson; two stepbrothers, John E.
