WOMAN'S MRS. ERNESTINE J. PERNELL, Editor Miss Creech Married To Reynolds Miss Harriet Jean Creech, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William R.

Creech, 254 9th and A-1c Francis Allan Reynolds, PBAFB, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Reynolds of St. Petersburg, were married by Dr. Ryan L.

Wood at the Memorial Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Russell D. Toms was vocal soloist and Mrs.

George Robertson was organist. The candlelighted altar was banked with palms baskets of white gladioli and chrysanthemums. Mrs. Jack D. Hord, in a blue nylon gown with white accessories and carrying a bouquet of white pompons, was matron of honor and Miss Janet Gail Creech, sister of the bride, in a blue flowered nylon gown and carrying a bouquet of white chrysanthemums, was the bridesmaid.

Jack D. Hord was Mr. Reynolds' best man and ushers were Carter Reynolds, brother of the bridegroom, and Raymond French. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a Chantilly lace gown with sweetheart neckline, outlined in pearls, and accordion pleated panels of organdy on the skirt, which ended in a train. Her lace veil was attached to a tiara of pearls rhinestones and she carried a white Bible, topped with a white orchid, showered with streamers and rosebuds.

Mrs. Creech, mother of the bride, wore a white lace frock and an orchid corsage. A reception was held in the Garden Room at Howard Johnson's. Assisting were Mrs. Edward Creech, the bride's grandmother, and Miss Thelma A.

Whipple, her aunt. The bride received her education at Palm Beach High School and the bridegroom received his education from the St. Petersburg High School. After a tour of the West coast, he and his bride will reside at 9th St. CAROLYN ENFINGER Enfinger-Fondren Engagement Told Mr.

and Mrs. E. C. Enfinger of Hartford, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Carolyn Enfinger, 615 Florida William Aubrey Fondren, son of Mr. and Mrs.

D. W. Fondren, also of Hartford. Miss Enfinger is a graduate of Geneva County High School, Hartford, and received her AB degree from Asbury College, Wilmore, Ky. For the past year she has been youth director of the First Methodist Church.

Mr. Fondren was also graduated from the Geneva County High School, served three years in the Marine Corps and is now a student in the School of Engineering, Alabama Polytechnic Institute, Auburn, Ala. The wedding will be solemnized in Hartford on June 6. MISS HELEN KEIL Helen Keil Wins Fellowship Miss Helen Keil, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Art Keil of 1011 Hillerest has been awarded a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship for graduate, study University of physies, Califor- next nia in Berkeley, according to word received here. Miss Keil is a graduate of Palm Beach High school and will receive her B.S. degree in physics from Barnard College, Columbia University, in June. As a tennis player she won a number of tournaments in the state, attained No. 1 ranking in doubles, and has won several tournaments, at Barnard.

The Woodrow Wilson Fellowships are supported by the American. Association of Colleges and Universities, Carnegie and Ford foundations. They are awarded on the basis of recommendations from the student's faculty, competitive examinations and interviews by a regional examining board. E. Francisco Is Married To Marine The marriage of Miss Ellen Mary Francisco, daughter of C.

R. Francisco, Fort Lauderdale, formerly of this city, and Herbert Harrel Hayes, Opa Locka Marine Base, son of Mrs. Olive Hayes of Lake Orion, was solemnized at the Park Temple Methodist Church, Fort Lauderdale, at 4 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. George A.

Foster officiating. Mrs. John Riddle, West Palm Beach, in a dusty rose pink peau de soie gown with pink satin headband and short veil and carrying cascade of pink briarcliff roses, was matron of honor. Mrs. Norman Stein, Miss Marilyn Melville, both of Fort Lauderdale, were the bridesmaids.

They wore gowns like that of the matron and carried bouquets of frenched pink carnations and briarcliff roses. The bride wore a gown of peau de soie with sabrina neckline of alencon lace, studded with sequins. The basque bodice was of alencon lace and the bustle type skirt ended in a chapel train. Her three-tiered veil was elbow length and held in place by a tiara of seed pearls, pailletts and sequins. She carried a cascade bouquet of white orchids and frenched carnations.

Linda Gill was the flowering girl and Bim Gill was the ring bearer. Fred Hansel of Miami was best and ushers were James Mueller, George N. Carrillo, both of the Opa Locka Marine Base. A reception was held in the Seaside room at the Yankee Clipper, Fort Lauderdale. The bride was graduated.

from Palm Beach High and attended Florida State University, School, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and the Florida State circus. She is president of the Venture Club at Fort Lauderdale. Mr. Hayes was educated at the Lake Orion High School and is now stationed at the Opa Locka Base. He and his bride will reside at 710 SE 7th Fort Lauderdale, until June 2 when they will reside at Cherry Point, N.C.

Secretaries Sponsor Club Dinner Nine women's civic clubs of the Palm Beaches will participate in the eighth annual Friendship Dinner, planned 7 p.m., Thursday, May 15, at the Sea Breeze Hotel, Palm Beach. This year's sponsoring tion is the Palm Beaches Chapter, National Secretaries Assn. Other clubs taking part are Altrusa Club of the Palm Beaches, American Society of Women's Accountants, Business and Profes-" sional Women, Pilot of Palm Beaches, Quota Club of the Palm Beaches, Soroptimist International of the Palm Beaches, Venture Club and Zonta International of the Beaches. Personal Mention Mr. and Mrs. Wheaton Douglass, 215 Claremont Lane, Palm Beach Shores, are leaving Monday for San Francisco, from where they will sail Wednesday on the SS President Polk on a world tour. They will visit ports in the Far East, in Italy, France and other countries and will return to New York on Aug. 3.

Miss Margaret Morrison, who has been the guest of Mrs. Gladys Collins, 1701 Avenue Riviera Beach, returned Thursday to her home in Toronto, Canada. Enroute home she will spend several weeks in New York City.

Jaycee Wives Club Holds Barbecue For Husbands Miss Fatio Married In Connecticut An announcement of Interest in Palm Beach is that of the marriage Saturday of Miss Alexandra Fatio, daughter of the late and Mrs. Maurice Fatio of Palm Beach, and Paul Beekman Taylor, son of Mrs. Edith A. lor of Newtown Turnpike, Weston, Conn. and Charles Taylor of Chicago.

The two were wed Saturday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Froelicher on Valley Road, Wilson's Point, South Norwalk, was also the scene of the wedding of mother and father. Mr. Fatio was the son of Guillaume Fatio of Geneva, Switzerland, who has announced his granddaughter's marriage, and when he came to America to follow his architectural career, the Froelicher house was his first commission in this country.

The Froelichers invited the architect, and his bride, Miss Eleanor Chase of Palm Beach and Oshkosh, to be married there. Pierre Fatio, of Evanston, brother of the bride, gave his sister in marriage. Since the death of their parents, the brother and sister grew up in Oshkosh but have many friends in Palm Beach. The bride was graduated in 1954 from Skidmore College. Mr.

Taylor is a graduate of Brown University and will receive his Master's degree from Wesleyan College in Middletown June 8. On June 12 the young couple will sail for a summer abroad. They will visit in Geneva, after which they will spend the month of July at Louveciennes, France, at the home of the bridegroom's sister, Mme. Jean Chevalier. In August they will be in Paris, following which they will return to the United States.

After September, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor will make their home in Providence, R.I., where he will continue his studies while instructing classes in English at Brown University. Miss Davis, Gruber To Marry Mr. and Mrs.

John P. Davis, 6600 Lytle Court, announce engagement their daughter, Miss Jacqueline Lee Davis, to A-2c Jerome K. Gruber, son of Mrs. Rosalie Gruber, Beaver Dam, Wis. The marriage will be solemnized June 14.

Miss Davis will graduate in June from Palm Beach High School. Mr. Gruber attended school in Wisconsin and for the past two and 8 half years has been a member of the 1376 Periodic Maintenance Squadron at Palm Beach Air Force Base. The bride wore a pale yellow pure silk sheath frock with mousseline de sole bodice. Mrs. Gledhill Reviews Book At WCTU Meet Mrs. Clara Gledhill conducted a parliamentary drill and also reviewed the book, "Where Prayer and Purpose Meet" at a meeting of the Women's Christian Temperance Union at the First Presbyterian Church Friday afternoon.

Tschirgi. YWCA Holds Annual Dinner At Holy Trinity Parish House Mrs. John J. Welborn, Greenville, S.C., representative from the Southeast region to the National YMCA board and representative from the US to the YWCA World Council, related experiences at the last World Council meeting to members of the Young Women's Christian Association at the annual dinner meeting at the Holy Trinity parish house Friday night. told of the many different faiths that were merged into a common understanding of love and service as exemplified by the YWCA.

Meebold, executive director, in her yearly report, stated that the YWCA residence for girls provides a home away from home for girls 17 to 30 years of age and that during the girls were registered as permanent resident with 87 girls there for less than eight weeks and 353 applications for rooms were sent to approved homes in the city, She told of the various organizations within the YWCA, of the new pool and patio and the home at 1009 N. Marie S. Fleming and the late Otto R. Fleming, Ft. Pierce, is a former student of St. Ann's Catholic School, West Palm Beach.

After attending school here he seminarian of the Diocese, and in 1952 graduated from St. Charles College, Baltimore, Md. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, where he elementary schools, Fr. is one of attended, four priests to be ordained this month for the Florida Missions. He completed his college training at St.

Mary's Seminary in Baltimore where he earned an A.B. degree in philosophy and education, and following ordination will be assigned to further study at the Catholic University, Washington, D. C. Upon completion of courses which will provide him with a master's degree in education, Fr. Fleming will enter the becamelteaching profession in Florida.

Palm Beach OES Honors Mrs. McEwen At Reception Mrs. R. K. McEwen, city, newly elected grand matron of the Grand Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, was honored last night at a and reception given by members of Palm Beach Chapter, OES, at the Masonic Hall.

The dining hall was decorated in blue, yellow and white flowers, the colors chosen by Mrs. Mc- Ewen for her year. The honored guest was introduced by Mrs. W. G.

Wood, worthy matron, and Mayor Horace Miller, a past patron of the Northwood Chapter. The Rev. Walter Oldford gave the invoca-1 tion and Leon Collins, worthy patron of Palm Beach Chapter 1 introduced Boyd Harris, Clearwater, worthy grand patron, who was welcomed by Mrs. Clifton L. Rice, Past Grand Ruth.

Following the dinner, a reception was held in the chapter room. Mrs. Carlton Cutler, accompanied by Mrs. Harold W. Clarkson, sang several solos in tribute to the honored guest.

Dennis Bell presented Mrs. McEwen with a life membership in Palm Beach Chapter and Mrs. Willie Lee Rogers presented her with a gift from the chapter. Frank Huston presented gift to Mr. Harris from the chapter.

Mrs. Walter Oldford presented Mrs. McEwen with a gift from the District Past Matrons and Past Patrons Club and Mrs. Lucille Geisler of Lucerne Chapter, Lake Worth, presented Harris with a gift from the Past Matrons and Past Patrons Club. The guests were welcomed at the reception by the past matrons and past patrons of the chapter.
