New Alexandria RD Resolution Asks Probe Into PIDA HARRISBURG (AP)-The Senate Rules Committee has approved a resolution calling for an investigation of the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority.

Sen; Thomas Nolan, committee chairman and Democratic floor leader, said Tuesday the resolution was prompted by complaints he had received from a New Castle food processing firm. Victor R. Medure, president of Silver Maple Foods, and Philip A. Perrotta, a stockholder, allege that Richard E. Moody, secretary of the Greater New Castle Development forced the company to give him stock in return for his support in securing a PIDA loan.

PIDA loans money to local development organizations, such as New Castle, to be loaned to local industries to be used to spur industrial expansion. Moody denied the charges and maintained that Silver Maple officials had tried to use him to the company which he said was losing Rcf fctato Tmritfori' ARMSTRONG COUNTY rJKomfWmm to RtnjJS, Flanitfflh end otnvni wppttty In Bwtfyi Bend Two.) fl.ttft HoweRl W. New Charge Filed Against NYC Broker HARRISBURG (AP)-A relatively minor criminal charge has been added to theft allegations against a New York City insurance broker who allegedly stole $761,250 in Pennsylvania insurance premiums. A new criminal complaint against broker Charles W. Ohle charges that he broke a Pennsylvania insurance law by mingling Pennsylvania's premium dollars with his general office funds. The complaint was filed Monday by Ronald G. Lench, state secretary of property and supplies.

Lench filed the original complaint against Ohle on Jan. 29. The complaint accused Ohle of three counts of theft for failing to forward Pennsylvania's insurance premiums to Reserve Insurance Co. of Chicago. Ohle is free on $50,000 baU.
