Livengood of Carmel, area director of the Indiana Heart Association, was the speaker at the meeting of the American War Mothers Thursday evening in the American Legion Home. His topic was "Facts and Hopes of a Person Who has a Heart Condition" and he showed two films, "Strokes" and "Coronary Heart Bremen Grange Meets Monday Evening Herbert Marburger, master, presided at the November meeting of the Bremen Grange held Monday evening, Nov.

9, in the Grange hall. It was announced that there will be an exchange program with the Pinhook Grange of Fulton county. A reading, "Things For Which Grangers are Thankful," was given by Mrs. Leonard Benson. Mrs.

Clayton Enders gave a re Citizens club to be held Friday, November 20, in the public library. Meat will be provided. Rev. Jack Kline will give the devotions and the Junior Mothers' Club will present the program. Conservation Club To Meet At Lake Tuesday A meeting of the Bremen Conservation club will be held Tuesday evening, Nov.

17, at 8:00 p.m., in the club house at Lake of the Woods. There will be entertainment and refreshments will be served. The Enquirer's phone Is 546-2941. Brian Stiver of Wakarusa as best man and Gary Oswalt, also of Wakarusa. Ushers were Don Reed of Bremen, brother of the bride, and Douglas Weldy of Wakarusa.

Kevin Troxel of Elkhart, nephew of the bridegroom, served as ring bearer. Following the ceremony a reception for 175 guests was held in the social rooms of the church. Those assisting with the serving were Miss JoAnn Whitlock, Miss Jane Baker, Miss Shirley Reed, Mrs. Marvin Miller, and Mrs. Harold Buell, all of Bremen.

Miss Rose Reed of Bremen, niece of the bride, registered the guests. The young couple left on a wedding trip to norhtern Michigan and after their return will be at home at 109 Wabash Avenue in Wakarusa. Mrs. Scott closed the meeting by reading a poem, "Veterans' Day." Refreshments were served at tables decorated in keeping with Thanksgiving Day. Mothers' Club Sees Slides Of Europe W.

W. Schramm showed colored slides and told of a tour he took through Europe last summer at the meeting of the Bremen Mothers' club held last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Olen Ernsberger. Mrs. Jack Ernsberger was the co-hostess.

Two accordion solos, "Lady of Spain" and "Dream of Love," by Mike Kiefer made up the musical part of the program. Refreshments were served fol lowing a short business meeting. Mrs. Raymond Tucker of LaPorte, Texas, was a guest. Ladies' Aid To Meet This Afternoon The Ladies' Aid of St.

Paul's Lutheran church will meet this afternoon, November 12, in the social rooms of the church. Mrs. Charles Cline will be the hostess. Parents Without Partners Hold Annual Fall Dance The annual fall dance of the Elkhart Area Chapter No. 62 of Parents Without Partners was held Saturday evening, Nov.

7, in the Athenian Room at the Hotel Elkhart. "Cornstalk Swing" was the theme for the dance which was open to the public. Music was provided by Eldy Flora's orches tra. Parents Without Partners is a national organization for single parents whether id divorced, separated, or unmarried. Its purpose is to achieve a healthy adjustment to live as a single parent and to help children cf single parents reach a normal and happy adulthood.

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Y.W.C.A. at Elkhart. 504 W. PLYMOUTH ST.

Dietrich and Mrs. Herman Widmar. Mrs. Rogers Entertains Bremen Buncoettes Mrs Austin Rogers entertained the Bremen Buncoettes at her home in Nappanee Monday evening. Mrs.

Tom Rohr and Mrs. Dorothy MacDonald were guests. Plans were discussed for a Christmas party to be held at the home of Mrs. Larry Hepler. Prizes of the evening were won by Mrs.

Hepler, Mrs. MacDonald, and Mrs. Dick Martz. Town and Country Club To Meet At Laudeman Home Mrs. Richard Laudeman will be the hostess at the meeting of the Town and Country home demon stration club to be held Monday evening, Nov.

23. at 8:00 o'clock. Airs. James Anderson will be the co-hostess. The lesson on "Electric Fry Pan Meals" will be presented by Mrs.

Carrol Jones and Mrs. Bruce Hardy. Friendly Hour Club To Have Thanksgiving Supper The annual Thanksgiving supper for members of the Friendly Hour club and their families will be held Thursday evening, Nov. 19, at 5:30 o'clock in the public library. Will Darch, commercial manager of television station WSBT-TV at South Bend, will be the guest speaker.

Bridgettes Meet Wednesday Evening Mrs. James Crittenden entertained the Bridgettes at her home last Wednesday evening. Favors at contract bridge were won by Mrs. Donald Kauffman, Mrs. Paul Crittenden, and Mrs.

Troxel solemnized in a candelight service at 7:30 o'clock Friday November 7. Rev, Jack Kline, pastor of the church, read the double ring marriage ceremony. Lighted tapers tied with white satin bows marked the pews along the bridal aisle. Music was provided by Roy Reed of Plymouth, vocalist, and Miss Lois Rohrer of Plymouth, organist. They are both cousins of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Reed of R.R. 1, Bremen, and Mr. and Mrs.

Ralph Troxel of R.R. 1, Wakarusa, are the bridegroom's parents. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a wedding gown of Chantilly lace and tulie fashioned with a molded bodice with a scalloped scoop neckline outlined with iridescent sequins, and long tapered sleeves. Tiers of tulle and lace embroidered with sequins accented the back of the bouffant full length skirt. Her elbow length veil of illusion fell from a crown of horsehair and seed pearls and she carried an arrangement of white roses and pompons on a white Bible.

Miss Connie Leeper of Bremen, maid of honor, and Miss Shirley Huff of Bremen, bridesmaid, wore street length dresses of light blue brocaded taffeta styled with scoop necklines, short sleeves, and bell skirts. Their headpieces weie open crown pill box hats with shoulder length circular veils and they carried crescent bouquets of ice blue and white pompons, tied with light blue satin ribbon and centered with a blue tinted mum. Becky Miller of Bremen, niece of the bride, as flower girl wore a dress of blue velvet and a halo of white and ice blue pompons and carried a basket of blue and white pompons. Rev. Eisinger Speaks To Current Events Club Rev. Richard Eisinger, pastor of Grace Evangelical United Brethren church, was the speaker at the regular meeting of the Current Events club held Monday evening in the public library. His topic was 'The Day Is Critical." Mrs. E.

A. French gave the devotions and a report of the 13th District Federation of Clubs convention held at Akron Oct. 29 was given by Mrs. I. O.

Pfeiffer. Roll call was answered with a Thanksgiving thought or quotation by eighteen members. A poem, "Little Blessings," was read by Mrs. Foster Annis. Refreshments were served by Mrs.

Walter Edel. Mrs. Ernest Gass, and Mrs. J. F.

Mougin. Anniversary Meeting Is Held By W.C.T.U. Mrs. Clem Hershberger gave devotions on the Thanksgiving theme to open the anniversary meeting of the Women's Christian Temperance Union held Tuesday at the Salem Evangelical United Brethren church. Twenty-four members were in attendance.

Music was provided by Mrs. Richard Snyder who sang "Cleanse Me" and played a medley of old time favorites on the piano. Mrs. C. S.

Murphy read "The Voice of the Unknown Soldier" in observance of Veterans' Day. Memories of earlier days were recalled by Mrs. I. G. Roederer and Mrs.

Edward Stackhouse. The lesson study, "Growth of the National W.C.T.U.," was conducted by Mrs. Delbert Sherk. She said, "although Mrs. Zerelda Wallace, wife of Gov.

Wallace, served as the first state president in 1874, Shuyler Colfax, Vice President during President Grant's administration, was successful in orgainzing a Temperance Society in South Bend as early as 1842." "That Bow of White" was presented by Mrs. Leo Balsley and Bernice Huff. 1 yj 1 flower girl. Mrs. Sellers wore a powder blue knit suit with black accessories. Their corsages were of white pompons surrounded with pink sweetheart rose buds. Devon Kitch of Bourbon served ns best man. Donald Sellers of Plymouth, brother of the bride groom, was an attendant and the ushers were Carl Huber of Wak arusa and Max Evans of Milford.

Kelvin Sellers of Bourbon, nephew of the bridegroom, was the ring bearer. Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church social rooms. Those assisting at the reception were Misses Rose Reed. Mary Jane Hill, Aloma Schutz. and Kasandra Schutz, Mrs.

Roger Weaver, Mrs. Robert Smith, and Mrs. Carl Huber, all of Bremen. The bride is a graduate of Bremen High School and Mr. Sellers graduated from Bourbon High School.

They will make their home in Bremen. "Good Will Ambassador" Shows Pictures Of Tour In Nigeria Miss Barbara Bixel, a teacher in the South Bend City School System, who served as a "good will ambassador" from St. Joseph county, told of her two-month good will tour to Nigeria and showed colored slides depicting the lives and customs of the people who live there, at the meeting of the Bremen Progress club held Monday evening at the home of Mrs. James Neu in Plymouth. Mrs.

Wilford Bailey, president, conducted the business meeting when projects for the coming year were discussed. Mrs. Tom Gunterman, Mrs. Larry Cather, and Mrs. J.

J. Attending the bride was Miss Marlene Sheetz of Bremen as maid of honor.

Her street length dress of sapphire blue velveteen was styled with a fitted bodice with a scoop neckline and elbow length sleeves. She wore a matching bow headpiece with a circu lar veil and carried a cascade bouquet of tinted blue mums encircled with white pompons and ivy. Mrs. Jerry Kollmeyer of New Castle was the bridesmaid. She wore a dress of candy ro.ce velve teen styled like the maid of honor's with matching headpiece and she carried a cascade arrangement of tinted rose mums with white pompons and ivy.
