W. A. Zaloudek, retiring president of the Kiwanis club, gave, a report on the club's activities at a meeting held at the Presbyterian church. It was announced that 39 men bad been added to the club roster. Fred M.

Recobs, former sheriff, was here from Pendleton, where he was a guard. at the reformatory, visiting friends and relatives. William Ray died at his home southwest of Elwood. He was 63 years old. Mr.

Stephen Lineback, residing near Mt. Lebanon, was badly injured when he slipped on ice and fell. Funeral services for Roy Wright were 'held at the home near New Lancaster and burial was in the Cook cemetery. Dr. and Mrs.

B. V. Chance were called to Indianapolis by the serious illness of their daughter, Velma, student nurse at the Methodist hospital. Evidence Supports Belief Cline Falsely Identified Women San Francisco, Jan -Definite evidence supporting police in their belief that Al-! fred L. Cline falsely identified women who died in his company was brought into the far-flung investigation of the ex vict's activities today.

The latest development in the -wide case came from Chicago in the report by Gerald Ryan, attorney for the estate of the late Mrs. Delora Krebs, Cline. Ryan said that the finding of two Chicago dental experts give strength to the theory that the wealthy Mrs. Krebs Cline died in Dallas, on Oct. 17, 1944 Ryan said that a dental case of the late Mrs.

Krebs Cline checked with artificial teeth found in a cremation urn sent to Bloomington, by Cline identified the remains as those of Mrs. Alice W. Carpenter, St. Petersburg, widow.
