He was employed as Director of Advanced Engineering Programs at Pratt and Whitney In West Palm Beach. Mark made major contributions to the design and develpoment of aircraft gas turbine engines Including the EU9 engine for The Advanced Tactical Fighter Aircraft, the Air Force's newest. Mark was born October 17, 1942 In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from German town Friends School of Philadelphia and received his advanced degrees in mechanical engineering from Cornell University, School of Engineering, Ithaca, New York. He has been a career engineer In the field of aeronautical design, having worked In advanced design first at General Electric Company, Aircraft engine Business in Cincinnati, Ohio and for the last ten years at Pratt and Whitney in West Palm Beach, Florida.

He was honored as an active associate fellow In the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and was also in The American Radio Relay League and PI Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Mr. Duffy had been a resident of Poynton Beach since 1955, coming from New York. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps, member WPB Elks Lodge 1352. From August 1966 to March 1988, he served on the Boynton Beach Fire Department, retiring as a Captain. He also was a partner in the Real Estate firm of Duffy-Fronrath in Boynton Beach.

"RED" FAGAN Age 77, of Lake Worth, Florida died Friday. Au gust 6, 1993 at his home after a brief illness. A native at west raim beach, Mr. Fagan was a long time employee at Howley's Restaurant and a chef at the Sailfish Club of Florida in Palm Beach, prior to his retirement. Survivors include his wife.

Virginia Elizabeth "Bet sy" Fagan; a son, William L. Fagan, and a oaugnier, wiary Anne MOJonougn, all of Lake Worth.
