Chamber of Commerce directors were told Monday the city has again been invited to participate in "Seguin Day" at the State Fair. This year, Seguin and one other city would be featured on a television broadcast both in the Southwest and Midwest.

Seguin's float and band would appear at halftime of a Dallas Cowboys football game. Directors unanimously approved participating. A Fair official will contact Chamber Manager Jack Scales in Seguin later. The Seguin High band will be given the first invitation to appear. If it declines, the TLC band, which made the trip last fall, will be invited.

The city of Seguin contributed $200 last year. Several Seguin industries set up exhibits.
