She married Frederick Young in 1946. For many years he was assistant superintendent in charge of security for the Western Electric Co. in New York City. Mr. and Mrs.

Young lived in New York for more than 20 vears. maintaining summer residences at Waccabuc. N.Y.. from 1948 to 1964, and then in Dorset. from 1968 until they moved to Florida in 1970.

Ker clubs included the Sailfish Club of Florida. Palm Beach; Eckwanok Golf Club. Manchester. Vt. and Dorset Mrs.

Virginia Sperry Young of 125 Seagate Road. Palm Beach, of the Sperry Hutchinson firm's member family, died of cancer early yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born July 26. 1901.

at Cranford. N.J.. daughter of William Miller Sperry. second president of Sperry Hutchinson Co best known for its green stamps. She spent most of her adult life in New York City where she was a buyer for Lord Taylor.

1935-66. working under the name Virginia Breckenridge. She was divorced from her first husband. Wilder Breckenridge. in 1946.

Fredrick P. Young, of Palm Beach, passed away Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital of Kansas. She was 70 years old. Mrs.

Young lived with her husband at 125 Sea Gate Rd. They have been residents of Palm Beach since November. 1970. Mrs. Young, born Virginia Sperry in Cranford.

New spent most of her adult life New York City, where she was a buver for Lord Tavlor. a leading department store. She lived in Pans trom 1927 to where she was a fashion buver for several American stores. Mrs. Young was the daughter of William Miller Sperrv.

the second president of the Sperrv and Hutchinson best known for it's Green Stamps. A graduate of Ogomtz. a finishing school near Philadelphia. Mrs. Young was an avid bridge player, golfer, and fisherman.

She was a member of the KkwanokGolf Club. Manchester. Vermont, the Dorset Field Club. Dorset. Vermont, and the Sailfish Club.

Palm Beach. She was also a member of the Fashion Group, New York City, an organization of fashion buvers and leaders. She worked for Lord Tavlor from 1935 to mostly as the buyer lor the department store's bridal, maternity, and lingerie departments. She worked under the name of Virginia Breckenridge. She was divorced from her first husband.

Wilder Breckenridge, in the late 192l)V Mr. Young, whom she married in 1946, was, for manv vears, assistant superintendent in charge of security for the Western Electric Co. in New York City. Mr. and Mrs Young lived in New York tor more than 20 years, maintaining summer residences at Wacca-buc.
