USAF (Ret) of Tequesta, Florida, died Sunday, October 23, 1994. He was born In Nebraska February 12, 1903. Following his graduation from the U. of Berkeley, and the original class of Flying Cadets, he joined the Army Air Corps. He married Etta Buchanan in San Diego tn 1931.

He led bombardment forces over Europe in WWII. He was Chief of Air Force Public Relations following the war. He served a tour as a strategic planner In NATO. His last active duty was at Norfolk, Va. as Deputy Commandant of the Armed Forces Staff College.

His decorations include the Silver Star, Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross and the French Croix de Guerre. He was very active In the 401st Bomb Group Assn. In the last few months, he had been very gratified by a wonderful response to his privately published memoirs "Birds of A He was a hero not only as a military leader but as a person. He left a legacy of unconditional love, hard work, absolute Integrity and great humor. His favorite description of himself was, "A He had been a local resident since 1959.

Gen. Bowman Is survived by a son, David Bowman of Arlington, a daughter and son-in-law, Gene and Jeanie Sanders, Tequesta; grandsons, Michael Pettltt, Jupiter, and Robert and David Pettitt of Atlanta; and a sister, Margaret Maynard, Portland, Ore. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years in 1993 and his granddaughter, Cynthia Pettltt Thompson In 1985. During WWII, he developed a great admiration and affection for the American Red Cross. He is also deeply appreciative of the skilled and loving care Hospice of Palm Beach County provided for him, his wife and granddaughter.

He was born on August 9, 1908 in Cameron, Pennsylvania. Harold was retired from Oeveland Electric Illuminating Co. in Ashtabula, Ohio. There Harold was a member of Chapel Hills Golf Course. He golfed daily until his retirement in Florida where he also golfed and sport fished with his son.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Stredney Krape in 1992. Survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry W. Krape and Olivia of N. Palm Beach, and his daughter Marlene (Marty) Kangas of Ashtabula, Ohio; five (5) granddaughters, Michelle Krape Hopper of Palm Beach Gardens, Nicole Krape, Janlne Krape and Cheri Krape of North Palm Beach, Fla. and Jolene Kangas of Port St.

He was a professional musician since age 8. FUNERAL HOME. EUGENE JOHN ETHIER Born August 23, 1925 in Duluth. Minnesota, passed away at his home Sunday evening October 23, 1994 after an extended illness. Gene was predeceased by his parents. Fred and Marie Ethier.

He graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1943 and then entered the Air Force and served in WWII. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and his law degree from the University of Miami, Florida. He practiced law in Lake Park, Florida, for over twenty-five years. He was the Municipal Judge in the City of Rivieria Beach from I960 to 1967, the Prosecutor for the Municipal Court of Riviera Beach from 1958 to 1960, and a Lieutenant for the Police Auxiliary of Lake Park from 1957-1959. He always considered the police officers among his closest friends and loved to entertain them on Sunday afternoons when the Dolphins played or on a Friday night or when his beloved Hurricanes were playing.

He leaves to cherish his memory, Diane, his wife of forty-two years; his son, John and his wife, Carol; daughter, Carrie and her husband, Michael; daughter, Barbara and her husband, Tim; seven grandchildren, Chrissy, Bobby, Ashley Di, and Mary Ethier, Lauren, Nicky, and Sammy McFadden; brother, Lloyd Ethier; nephew, Lloyd Ethier, nieces, Theresa, Yvonne, and Michelle; and his boyhood buddy, best man, and close confidant for almost 50 years, Jim Fierek from Arizona. Retired from Remington Shaver Company in Connecticut after 25 years of service. Member of the St. Louis Cardinal's World Series team. Survivors include loving wife, Mary Margaret; daughter, Nancy and Alan Fyfe, Atlantis, son, George and Marion Fallon. She was a native of Camaguey Cuba and had lived In West Palm Beach, Florida before moving to Folkston three months ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lantana.

Survivors include husband, Mitchell Cribb and two daughters, Sylvia Cribb and Teresa Cribb all of Folkston, Georgia; mother, Sylvia Garcia and two sisters, Daisy Garcia and Julia Reitor of West Palm Beach, one brother. 19, 1922 in Montreal. Canada to the late Louis and Louise Dube. She lived in Cranston, R.I. and Coventry until 1986 before moving to Florida. Since 1950 Mrs.

White spent the majority of her summer vacations at Naira-gansett, R.I. in a custom camp handbuilt by her late husband. In RI she was a communicant of St. John and Paul Catholic Church, and attended the Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Lake Worth, Fla. She Is survived bv three sons, Edwin W.

White of Anchorage, Alaska, Russell E. White of Lake Worth, Fla. and Vann T. White of Coventry, R.I.; four sisters, Jalberte Ward of Lake Worth, Margaret Hallene of West Palm Beach, Rolande Duhaime of Johnston, R.I. and Adeoda Simmons of West Palm Beach, four brothers, Paul Dube of Orlando, Joseph Dube of Elkton, Fernand Dube of Cranston, R.I.

and Thomas Dube of East Greenwich, R.I. She has seven grandchildren scattered between Germany and California. Survived by long time companion, Frederick (Freeman) Foley. She was the sister of the late Antoinette E. Fischer and Gerard Dube.

HANBURY Mrs. Hanbury, 93 years old, of West Palm Beach, died Monday, October 24, 1994 at a local hospital after a sudden illness. Mrs. Hanbury had been a resident of the Palm Beach area since 1920, coming here from Minneapolis, Minn. She was the widow of the late Terrence P.

Hanbury who died in January of 1961. A Registered Nurse, she was a graduate of Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1933. She retired from St. Mary's Hospital In 1973 after 24 years of service. She was a former member of the Women's Club at both St.

Juliana's and Mary Immaculate Churches. She Is survived by two sons, Terence J. Hanbury of North Palm Beach, Fla. and Patrick C. Hanbury of West Palm Beach.

Also surviving are six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Jensen's memo ry. EDMOND A. KAZIUKAITIS Mr. Kaziukaitis, age 69, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away at a local hospital on Monday, October 24, 1994 after an extended illness. He was bom in Harrison, New Jersey, grew up in Kearny, New Jersey and resided in Bloomfield, New Jersey before moving to South Florida in 1960.

Mr. Kaziukaitis was a United States Merchant Marine veteran of World War II. He was retired from Pratt-Whitney after 23 years of service in their employ. Mr. Kaziukaitis is survived by his wife, Gloria A.

Born May 12, 1906 in Micanopy, Florida, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Williams who passed away in 19H6. She came to West Palm Beach from Hollywood, Florida to live with her sister, Louise Cooke and Jesse Cooke when her health began to fail. Lever, age 73, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away at a local hospital on Tuesday, October 25, 1994 afer a brief illness. He was bom in New York and resided in New York before moving to South Florida 10 years ago. Mr. Lever was a United States Marine Corps veteran of World War and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was a communicant of Saint Ignatius Loyola Cathedral. Mr. Lever is survived by his wife, Felicia A. Cook-Lever; two sorts, James (A his wife, Mary) Lever, Jr. of Pearl River, New York and Thomas Lever of Brooklyn, New York; three grandchildren, Colleen, Kelly and Gail; a brother, John Lever of Washington; and a sister, Tessie Lever of New York.
