Coast Guard at Manhattan Beach, N. Y. The three young men are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cionzynski of 13 West Church street, Nanticoke.

Robert K. Dussinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L.

Dussinger, 83 North Welles avenue, Kingston, has been advanced to petty officer first class, V. S. at the Naval Radio Station, N. C. He was called to active duty in April, 1941.

Will Rogers Field, Dec. 30. Sergeant Joseph A. Liparela, formerly of 208 Thomas street, Wilkes-Barre, is one of the soldiers stationed at. this Army Air "Force bombardment base.

Sergeant Liparela is assigned to a bombardment squadron here as an aerial gunner. He is the son of Mrs. Mary A. Liparela. Before entering the Army, Sergeant Liparela was employed by Coal Company, Wilkes-Barre.

Bainbridge, December c30. George Richards, 98 Lawrence street Wilkes-Barre, is now a full-fledged bluejacket upon completion of his recruit training at Bainbridge Naval Training Station. With the rating of seaman second class, he has been assigned to attend the aviation ordnance school in Memphis, Term, for further specialized training. Also completing training at Bainbridge is Francis A. Caputo, 822 Luzerne avenue, West Pittston, who has been advanced to the rating of seaman second class and assigned to the aviation machinist's mate school at Memphis.

Mine Worker's Foot Smashed Michael Mikulski, 21, of 44 Morris freet, Plymouth, is being treated in General Hospital for injuries to his left foot He was admitted to the Institution yesterday after a coal car ran over his foot at a colliery of Glen Alden Coal Company. He suffered bruises and lacerations with possible fractures of several toes. Another Glen Alden Coal Company employe was treated at the same hospital after a piece of coal fell on his foot.
