After West Palm Beach had its tight-game winning streak ended by the St. Lucie Mets in a 12-inning, four-hour marathon the night before, the Expos beat the Mets 9-3 in front of 715 Florida State League baseball fans. ; In the process, the Expos halted the Mets' eight-game winning streak and stopped the hitting streaks of Butch Huskey (12 games) and Tim McClinton (six games). - "More importantly, we bounced back from a loss," Expos manager Dave Jauss said. "Instead of being swept, we split the series." y.The Expos (15-4) lead the FSL's East Division by 2 Ms games over the Mets (13-7). The Green Bay Packers traded running back Keith Woodside to the Dallas Cdjwboys for an undisclosed draft choice. Woodside, a fourth-round draft pifck from Texas A&M in 1988, starjed 50-of-64 games with Green Bay and did not miss a game. t He caught 144 passes for 1,248 yards and rushed 259 times for 976 yalrds. Browns VP Accorsi resigns after 7 years CLEVELAND Ernie Accorsi resigned as the Cleveland Browns' executive vice president of football operations, the position he has held since joining the franchise in 1985.
