The committee on music reported having completed arrangements with the Fort Meade band, -and also that the Deadwood male quartette had' vol-unleered to sing three or four selection. Chairman Grimshaw notified-the committee that he had written to Judge Moody requesting au answer to the invitation sent him to deliver the oration, and expected au answer in a day or two. The committee on tournaments stat ed that invitations had been sent to the different tire departments of the Hills, asking them to participate in the tournament, but so far no answer hd been received. The committee on printing and decorations reported being at work aud everything progressing smoothly.

The amusement committee ii also busily engaged perfecting iU department of the grand show, and is getting along swimmingly. The chairman was requested to wait upon the chaplain, marshal, reader and other officers and see if they would act iu the capacities asked ot them by tue committee. Art. 4. The officers of the association shall consist of a-president, a vice president representing each Suuday schiHil in the district, a permanent secretary, an asstant secretary, a treas urer aud an executive committee of live meiubers, the president and permanent secretary being ex-ollicio mem-lu-rs of the same. Art. 5.

It shall be the duly of the president to preside at the meetings ot the association, aud in case of his absence a vice president shall take tue chair. Art. 0 The p. ruiauent secretary shall keep a record of the proceedings of each meeting, together wilb a list of the Sunday schools iu the district, the name and poslotttce address of the superintendent, the number of teachers, scholars, etc and make a report at each anuual meeting. Art.

7. The assistant secretary shall write out the minutes at each meeting and render the permanent secretary such assistance as may be necessary. Art. 8. The treasurer shall keep a faithful account of all monies collected and disbursed for the benefit of the as sociation and report al each annual meeting.

Art. 9. The vice president shall have the general supervision of Sunday school Interests in the section, collect statistics aud report to the permanent secretary at least thirty days liefore the annual meeting, collect the tiinJs from their respective schools and report the same to the treasurer at the convention. They should visit at least somi-aonually all the schools in their territory. 1 hey should encourage schools already established, and organize undenominational schools iu localities where needed.

They should suggest any improvements they may think needful. They should aa for as possible awaken an interest in better ways of working. Tiey should direct the minds of all to the necessity for the conveition of the pupils. They Should urge the importance of teachers' meetings. They should inquire carefully how well the neighborhood has been canvassed for pupil.

They should endeavor especially to impress the possibility and necessity of sustaining the schools during the whole year. Art. 10. The executive committee shall arrange lor the meetings ot the conventions, select topics, arrange programmes, and invite such persons from abroad as may add to the interest of convention. They shall appoint a local committee in the place where the convention is to be held previous to the convention, who shall provide for the session ol the convention, and arrange for the entertainment of persons or delegates attending the convention.

It shall also be the duty of the executive committee to -advance the work in the district by every mean in their power during the entire year. They shall fill all vacan-cies occasioned by death or removal from the district. Aart. 11. At each annual meeting of the convention a committee shall be appointed to nominate officers, excepting the seeretarythlp, which is permanent, who shall be elected by the convention.
