His brothers, Dr. John Light and Dr. Seth Light, both of this city, on Wednesday performed an operation which appears to have resulted successfully and the patient is on the mend. He was ill for several weeks and he operation was made as a last resort to restore him to health. The surgeons found that he was eriously affected, the appendix being much inflamed and impeded.
