Harold Kropf, and family of Dakota City were Sunday guests at the parental Sam Kropf home at Ottosen. Word has been received here that Mr. and Mrs. E. R.

Gehrt are located in their new apartment home at Fresno, near their daughter Mrs. Paul Schram and family. Enroute there they visited Mrs. Gehrt's sister Mrs. M.

E. Richeal 1 and family at Long Beach, former Humboldt residents. They made the trip by car. Mrs. Raymond StockdaJc has returned to' her home at Rutland fronv.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lovrien drove to Des Moines Friday and to Ames on Saturday where they isiled friends and attended homecoming at Iowa State University. Dr. and Mrs.

Kva Evans of San Francisco, Mrs. Edna Abbey and Miss Virginia Stewart of Villisca were weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Ulrich in Dakota City. The three ladies are sisters of Mrs.

Ulrich. Mrs. Lowell Thomas and sons, Terry and Steven of Lu Verne were Sunday visitors at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Lee.

and Mrs. Joe Ehrhardt of Liverniore were Tuesday visitors at the home of Mrs. Fern Pitts. Mrs. Fern Pitts visited her daughter, Mrs.

Connie Ehrhardt near Algona on Monday. Mrs. Olive Perry received word this week of the death of a cousin, Thomas Wright, 88 at his home in Des Moines on Saturday. Mrs. Frank Bacssler is attending a Rebekah convention in Cedar Rapids.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Clemens and family of Union were weekend visitors with Mr. and Mrs. John Walley and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Myers of Lovcland, Colo, arrived Monday, for a visit with Mr. Myers' mother and with other relatives and friends here. The members of the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist church were guests Wednesday afternoon of the Livermore Society at their church.

Sixteen ladies altended from here. Mrs. Harold Lockwood returned Thursday from Detroit, Mich, where she visited her daughter, Mary, who is interning as a dietitian at the Harper hospital there. Mr. and Mrs.

Raymond Myers attended church services for the deaf al Fort Dodge Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Mathiason of Thor called on Mrs. Carrie Myers, Sunday.

The Rutland Woman's club met Thursday evening al the home of IvTrs. Clarence C-ondcll. is gave a very interesting lesson on bullet-flics. Roll call was answered with "The Beauties Mrs. Marjorie Davenport gave federal report and lunch was served al the close of Ihe meeting.
