Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John's by the Campus Episcopal Church.

The body will be cremated. Mr. Nims was born in Hydro, and had lived in Ames since 1989. A veterinarian, he was in the Army Veterinary Corps from 1945 to 1970 and retired with the rank of colonel. At the time of his retirement he was deputy director of the Division of Vet- erinary Medicine at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Washington, D.C.

He later worked for Microbiological Associates in Bethesda, Md. He was a member of the Association of Military Surgeons, American Veterinary Medical Association, Research Society of America and American Legion. He had also lived in Ames from 1941 to 1944 while earning a degree from Iowa State University. He is survived by his wife, Betsy; three sons, Robert of Midland, Texas, Curtis of Westboro, and Raymond of Myersville, two sisters, Laurabell Lemon of Hydro and Betty Groom of Mobile, Ala. Memorial contributions may be made to St.

John's by the Campus Episcopal Church or Northcrest Retirement Center. Adams Funeral Home in Ames is handling arrangements. Wilson was born in Carlisle and moved to Las Vegas about three years ago I from Des Moines. A previous obituary I incorrectly stated how long she had peen away from this area. HENRY SIECK 'Tama Henry W. Sieck, 86, of Tama died of pneumonia Sunday at Marshall-j town Medical and Surgical Center in Marshalltown. Services will be at 1 10:30 a.m.

Thursday at Hand Funeral Chapel in Tama. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Mr. Sieck was a lifelong Tama Edward Dale McVay, 66, of St. Charles died of a heart attack Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Services will be at 8 p.m. today at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Cremation will follow services. Mr. McVay was born in Gibbs, and had lived in St.

Charles 32 years. He worked for Western International, which later became AMF, as a fork-lift driver for 23 years and was a member of Early Wheels of Iowa Club and Model A Club. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn; two sons, Bill of St. Charles and Bob of Des Moines; a stepson, Richard Jenkins of Des Moines; a stepdaughter, Carol Zamparelli of Des Moines; two brothers, Gerald of Kirksville, and Carl "Gene" of Lake City; a sister, Corrine Ritchie of Bucklin, five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Fire and Rescue Department. FRED OXBERGER Urbandale Fred M.

Oxberger, 91, of Urbandale Rehabilitation and Care Center, 4614 N.W. 84th Urbandale, died of complications of pneumonia there Monday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Fridav at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Oxberger had lived in Des Moines all his life and retired from Meredith where he had worked in the bindery department. He also delivered Meals on Wheels for 10 years and was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. Surviving are his wife, Francis; three daughters, Mary Lou Christian and Linda Gray, both of Des Moines, and Donna VanderLinden of Grand Prairie, Texas; a stepson, Joe Obraza of Colfax; a brother, Earl of Annville, 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m.

Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels. DONALD LONGCOR Coopersville, Mich. Donald N. Longcor, 82, of Coopersville, died of a heart ailment there Oct.

5. Services were held Oct. 7 at Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Cremation followed services and interment was at Coopersville Cemetery. Mr.

Longcor moved to Coopersville from Des Moines five years ago. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; a daughter, Donella Andersen of Coopersville; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. at Eldon. Mrs. Hanna was born in Eldon and had lived in Des Moines for more than 50 years. She retired from the Iowa Department of Transportation and was a member of Highland Park Christian Church, Auburn Order of the Eastern Star, Highland Park Legion Auxiliary and Firestone Retirees. She is survived by a son, Michael of Sioux City; a daughter, Candace Stielow of Des Moines; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Fridav at Westover Funeral Home. Cremation will follow services. Mr. Miklus had lived in Des Moines most of his life and was the owner and operator of Brent's Produce.

Survivors include a son, Anthony of Fort Lauderdale, three daughters, Brandy Miklus and Desiree Miklus, both of Fort Lauderdale, and Lindsay Miklus of Dexter; his father, Thomas F. Miklus Jr. of Phoenix; two sisters, Kalee Bealer of Des Moines and Courtney Miklus of Phoenix; a brother, Jeff of Phoenix; and his grandparents, Thomas Sr. and Bel-zora Miklus of Mesa, and Boyd Murphy of Des Moines. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Highland Park Funeral Home. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Ppmpterv. Mrs. Billings was born in Polk City and had lived in Des Moines most of her life.

She was a homemaker. She is survived by three daughters, Marjorie Thompson of Des Moines, Katie Meyer of Britt and Candace Billings of Sioux City; two sons, Dar-rell of LaGrange, and James of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. DONOVAN PACK Melcher-Dallas Donovan Pack, 90, of Melcher-Dallas died of a heart ailment Monday at Pleasant Care Living Center in Pleasantville, where he had lived one month. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at New Hope United Methodist Church in Melcher-Dallas, with burial at Dallas Cemetery. Mr. Pack was born in Marion County and had lived in Melcher-Dallas most of his life.

He retired from South Central Co-op and had been a coal miner. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, JoAnn Graham of Pleasantville and Shirley Seddon of Melcher-Dallas; a son, Larry of Urba-na, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Melcher-Dallas Senior Citizens Center or his church.

AGNES McCANN Osceola Agnes Lea McCann, 91, of Osceola died of complications of Alzheimer's disease Sunday at Osceola Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Maple Hill Cemetery there. Mrs.

McCann was born near Laco-na and had lived in the Osceola area most of her life. She was a former schoolteacher, a homemaker and a member of Groveland Helpers Club and United Methodist Church in Osceola. Surviving are a son, George of Osceola; and two grandchildren. Rogers, 86, of Newton, a former principal of several Des Moines schools, died of a heart ailment Monday at Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Dahn and Wood-house Funeral Home in Carroll. Burial will be at Carroll City Cemetery. Miss Rogers was born in Carroll and began teaching in 1934.

After teaching in Westside, Ute, Audubon and Newton, she became a teacher and administrator in Des Moines and retired in 1974. She was a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church in Newton, Order of the Eastern Star in Carroll and PEO. She had lived at Park Centre Retirement Community in Newton for the past two years. A brother, Merrill Rogers of Newton, survives.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. BESSIE NELSON Des Moines Bessie Leone Nelson, 94, of Beaver-dale Estates, 4610 Douglas died of cancer Sunday at Hospice Kavanagh House. Services will be at 11 a.m.

Thursday at Merle Hay Funeral Home. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Nelson was born in Steele, N.D., and had lived in the Des Moines area several years. She was a teacher here before retiring in 1968 and was a member of First Federated Church.

She is survived by a son, Richard; a sister, Lucille Miller of Carson City, three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa. CAROL GRIFFITH Dcs Moines Carol Marie Griffith, 42, of 415 Watrous Ave. died of an overdose Sunday at home.

The death has been ruled a suicide. Services will be at 1 1 a.m. Thursday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Indianola, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Shaver Cemetery. Mrs.

Griffith was born in Winnebago, and had lived in Indianola 14 years before moving to Des Moines a year ago. She had worked for Christian Opportunity Center in Indianola and also Indianola Good Samaritan Center. Survivors include three sons, William Jr. and Nicholas, both of Des Moines, and Bryan of St. Louis; her mother, Mildred Bonebrake of Winnebago; two brothers, Steve Bone-brake of Grimes and Ron Bonebrake, both of Winnebago; and a sister, Sue Asmus of Belmond.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. MARTHA RHOADES Jefferson Martha M. Rhoades, 100, of Jefferson died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Greene County Long Term Care Facility there. Services will be at 10:30 a.m.
