Hearn last week was their Odell Hearn from Nashville, Tenn. He and his patents visited anothei son, jThurman Hearn in Grand Prairie. They also a daughtci, Mr. and Mrs J. Crables in iFort Worth.

Their grandchildren, Sarah Ann and Butch came home with them to spend two weeks; Home to help Odis Bauman celebrate his 61st birthday June II was Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Smith and his eight grandchildren of Marshall.

W. Marshall of Gilmer. All three Marshalls are active in stoies operated by the firm in Mt. Pleasant and Gilmer. It also operates in Pittsburg and Sulphur Springs.

Frank Marshall was a May graduate from Baylor University. and Mrs, Horace Ray and Lenny spent a week end at the Narrows Lake in' Arkansas with Mrs Ray's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Day, Donna and Scotty of New London. While there, Horace Ray entered a 2 oz. crappie in the fishing contest and won a Johnson spinning- reel.

The next day he entered a crappie that weighed 1 lb. oz and lost that day's prize by IVt oz He caught both crappie while fishing, for bass with a blacic and white big bass -bait. Betty Brooks Will Go To Kentucky For Work Camp Miss Betty Brooks of Gilmer is one of thirteen who will participate in a work camp for Methodist College students this summer at Henderson Settlement, a Methodist mission in the mountains of southeastem Kentucky Miss Biooks is a junior this year at Southern Methodist University, Dallas. June. July 30, the woik campeis will help to im- piovc buildings and giounds at Henderson Settlement and will assist 'in various social service piojecls.

They will landscape grounds, remove and replant trees, and build fences. Under the supervision of Henderson staff members, they will assist in daily vacation schools, youth programs and community recreation. The work camp at Henderson Settlement is one of nine summer service projects being sponsored this summer by the Methodist Student Movement, national organization for Methodist college students, in cooperation with the Methodist Boards ot Missions and Education.
