yesterday at the Ti-j tusville Hospital following a veryj short illness. She was born in Titusville. the daughter of George and Eliza-! beth Hawthorne MacNaughton. She was married to J. Paul Ludwick in Titusville on Sept.

S. 1923. Mrs. Ludwick was a lifelong resident here and a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Titusville. She was a member of the Eastern Star, the America Legion Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary and the Titusville Woman's Club.

She leaves her husband and three sons. George W. Ludwick, John Ludwick and Robert M. Ludwick, all of Titusville, and nine grandchildren. One brother and one sister preceded her in' death.

Friends may call at the Peter- son Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p. in. today and fron 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. tomorrow and attend the funeral service there at 1 p.

m. Friday. Rev. Richard Shannon Graham, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mylo Putnam Mylo Putnam, 91, formerly ofj Waterford, died at the Methodist Home, 'Meadville, on Monday afternoon. He was born at Centerville, Nov. 6, 1868, a son of John.and At Meadville: Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Porter to Robert W.

Schreckengost, property in Bloomfield Township. Mr. and Mrs. Evan F. Thomas Eleanor Hall Putnam.

He. married the former Laura Kecler. Much of his life was spent in Crawford County, but ih his later active years he was engaged in farming near Waterford. Mr. Putnam entered the form, er Ida M.

Cribbs Methodist Home at Conneautville on Sept. 26, 1947, the home moved to its new location, he became a resident there. He was a member of the Methodist Church Waterford. Surviving is his wife, who is a resident of the home. to Mr.

Seek Higher of the Oil City fire and police department submitted separate petitions Monday night asking Oil City Council to include a general pay raise next year, The same department sought a similar pay raise last year, hut were informed by council that they were too late included in the 1959 budget. Hurt Near Canadohta State Police of the Corry substation learned yesterday afternoon that Paul McGinnett of Erie had been injured in an auto accident Sunday morning at the intersection of Route 8 and the Canadohta Lake Road. McGinnett had been taken to St. Vincent's Hospital at Erie, where he. was treated for a bruised shoulder and released.

Layoffs at Warren DeLuxe Metal Products of Warren has laid off 30 workers, their first layoff due to the 104-day-old steel strike. Plant Manager Alvin C. Amos Jr. said it was "regrettable" to lay off the workers due to lack of steel and not of business. Recalling of the thirty em- ployes will be determined by the condition of the steel market specifically, Amos said.

Workers will return to the plant.the "instant supplies begin to arrive," he added.
