TUNE-IN Between tonight and a week from tonight the 1959-60 basketball season gets started for the three teams here in Galesburg. Tonight the Friars of Corpus Christi start their play with a game against the Commandos at Abingdon. Although we won't be carrying that game we will have the score as soon as it's available. Tomorrow night Galesburg High begins play for the season. It will mark the first game in the new gym on West'Fremont Street.

As usual, Macomb furnishes the first opposition of the year for the Silver Streaks. Bob Mann will be calling all the plays, as he will at all of GILS and Knox College games this season. All games of both schools will be carried. Of course, 'Bob can't be two places at once, and when both are playing the' same evening Bill Pritcbard or another member of the WGIL sports staff will be on hand to call the plays of the other team. Knox begins its season a week from tonight with a game in Memorial Gym against Augustana.

There'll be a direct broadcast of this game. Whenever the Streaks and Siwash arc playing the same night the Streak game will be carried live and the Knox game tape- recorded and broadcast at 10:15 p.m. Be sure to listen lo your 24- hour a day station for the best in music, news, sports and weather information. jgg OH VOWM out Mulual Broadcaiilng -J 3 CD TIStmiR WIU 0UTRIM 1X 6 M.II TVPE THE COMBINED DATA IM A PAPER WHICH IS WEVEK TO LEAVE THIS- 6V POLICE, DAV AMD NIGHT. 0WLV DK.KELL AND MYSELF 1 WILL HAVE ACCESS TC AS PENNV TYPE5i SHE PEELS AM IRRESI5T- ABLE URGE TO MEMORIZE THE PAPER.
