Jan. 27, 1983 7M illoince ALMANAC OBITUARIES BETTY I. HULL Memorial services Hull, 54, of 1507 E. died Tuesday of BETTY BETTY for Betty Irene Twelth who multiple sclerosis at Broad lawn Medical Center, will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Sunshine Open Bible Tabernacle.

The body was donated to the University of teopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. Born in Coon HULL Rapids, Mrs. Hull lived in Des Moines most of her life and was a member of Sunshine Open Bible Tabernacle. She was a retired employee of Swift Packing Co. Survivors include her husband.

Herb; three daughters, Sue Banks of McCallsburg, Janet Rohbough Rogers, and Sandy Finnell of Des Moines; two sons, Steve Hutchins of Norwalk and Jim Hutchins of Altoona; a brother, Joe Gallagher of Coon Rapids; and eight grandchildren. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the Open Bible church or Multiple Sclerosis Society. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. EVELYN TELLIS Services for Evelyn Tellis, 74, of 3729 Crocker who died of a heart attack Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m.

Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. Born in Illinois, Mrs. Tellis lived in Des Moines since 1930 and was a retired bookkeeper TELLIS at Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Co. She was a member of Acanthus Order of the Eastern Star and St.

John's Lutheran Church. Survivors include two sons, Merle and Blaine, both of Des Moines; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Friends may call at the funeral home. JOSEPH R. FARIS Joseph R.

Faris, 87, of Route 1, Cumming, formerly of 1322 Fortysecond St. in Des Moines, died of meningitis Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Dunn's Funeral Home with a private burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Born in Davenport, Mr.

Faris lived in Des Moines most of his life and in rural Cumming the past eight months. He was a retired photo engraver for Central Engraving Co. and was a member of Graphic Arts International Union M584. Survivors include a daughter, Lorene Gibson of West Des Moines; a son, Gene C. of Benecia, 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon today and until service time Friday at the funeral home. DONALD ANDERSON The Register's lowa News Service AMES, IA. Services for Donald 0. Anderson, 75, of Ames will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Ames.

Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oralabor Cemetery south of Ankeny. Mr. Anderson died Tuesday night at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames of a stroke. He was a graduate of Drake University and Simpson College with a degree in music.

On June 1, 1933, he was married to Guinevere Wagner in Des Moines. He served in the Navy during World War II, attaining the rank of lieutenant commander. Before coming to Ames he taught school in Casey, Garner and Kanawha, and was an auto dealer for several years in Vinton. He served in ministerial assignments for the United Methodist Church for 13 years, including pastorship of the First Methodist Church in Madrid and as an associate pastor of the Collegiate United Methodist Church in Ames. He was chaplain for the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine Temple in Des Moines for 10 years.

Prior to his retirement in 1977, Anderson was board president and executive director of Promise, a non-profit organization responsible for establishing medical clinics in Hong Kong and Yucatan, Mexico. He directed the division of information and education for the State Health Department from 1969 to 1975. Visitation is from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames, with the family receiving friends between 7 and 8:30 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Guinevere, and a sister, Katherine Melody of Denver, Colo.

A memorial fund has been established for the Shrine Crippled Children's Hospital. EDNA A. STOVER Edna A. Stover, 79, of Sunnyview Care Center, 410 N.W. Ash Drive in Ankeny, died of cancer Monday at the center.

Hyde, 78, of Kansas City, formerly of Des Moines, died of cancer Monday in Kansas City. RALPH E. LUND Services for Ralph E. Lund, 63, of 3402 Ashwood Drive in Urbandale will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St.

Plus Catholic Church. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. Mr. Lund died of heart attack Sunday while vacationing in Tucson, Ariz. Born in Council Bluffs, Mr.

Lund lived in Des Moines two years and was a retired sales coordinator for automotive services at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. He was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; a son, Jeffery K. of San Diego, two daughters, Karen Bazzocco of Urbandale and Julie Gettemy of Waukee; two brothers, John B.

of Laguna Beach, and Herman J. of Omaha, and six grandchildren. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the Catholic church. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lund's Urbandale residence.

WAGNER Home in Marshalltown, 3522 Fifty-ninth St. in Des Moines, died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Veterans Administration Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Merle Hay Mausoleum Chapel with burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Born in Johnson County, Mr.

Wagner lived in Des Moines from 1971 until 1978. He had farmed in the Mitchellville area and was a member of the American Legion Oldfield Post there. He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Wallace of Des Moines and Vera Head of Cumming; a son, Dale of Annapolis, a brother, Carl of West Branch; four sisters, Cora Cook of Ottawa, May Camp of Garnett, Birdie Blessing of Bethany, and Daisy Robinson of Hopkins, and nine grandchildren. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to Iowa Veterans Home or American Legion memorial funds, both in Marshalltown.

Peckham, 46, of 2722 Moyer who died of a respiratory ailment Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Peckham was a lifelong resident of Des MARILYN J. PECKHAM Moines and was a member of Reor- ganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She had been employed by the former Hill's Department Store. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth of Des Moines; two daughters, Diane Kay Tellis of Des Moines and Nancy Jean Lang of Carlisle; a son, Richard D. of Des Moines; her mother, Mabel lone Price of Des Moines; and a granddaughter. MARSH Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery for Annie Ruth Marsh, 71, of 2417 S. W. Ninth who died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Broadlawns Medical Center. Mrs.

Marsh was born in Tennessee and lived in Des Moines since 1960. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church.
