Cold Drlnlu Plenty of Parking Sfpace In the Shade Feathers Will Replace Furs In High Fashions BY OLGA CCBTIS INS.

Women's Editor NEW YORK, July The fashionable woman will be wrapped In feathers Instead of fur this fall. Ostrich Is definitely more stylish than mink next season, and considerably cheaper, too. Instead of a mink stole, for instance, you're supposed to drip ostrich plumes on dress-up even- Ings. Four feet of ostrich plumes, stitched to chiffon, will cost you $89 in- black or white, and you wear them just the way Lillian Russell wore her feather boa slung round your neck and casually dangling from your arms. If ostrlct sounds too plush tyou can be just as feathery in a $49 maribou cape, maribou la that powder-puff-type feather that's on negligees, and it's being used for little fluffy white capelets this fall.

You can be feathery under $20, only around your neck. collar-capelet of coq feathers will set you back around $17, In turquoise, red, white or black. The only objection to feathers instead of fur will come from the anemic. An ostrict plume won't keep you as warm as a mink, but it definitely will keep you stylish.
