Mr. and Mrs. Willard Edington, Jack, and Marsha went to Abilene Sunday to see his dad, Sam Ed- ington of Goldthwaite. He is a patient there. We wish him well.

In his new capacity, Wood is one of the top aides to Bluestein in planning and working on all operations in District 14 composed of 11 counties in the Central Texas area. Wood has been with the department 14 years. He is a member of the Travis Chapter.

Mrs. Looney, the former Nancy Wood, was working for the High way Department when she met he husband, who is a supervising de signing engineer in the secondary roads division of the Texas High way Department. Mr. and Mrs. Looney hold nearly the same office in their re- pective organizations, secretary, of the Chapter and the Auxiliary.

They both have been secretaries to their organizations during 1960, with the only difference being that the Travis Chapter secretary is also treasurer. "We work together on the minutes. I type and Dink supplies the official wording," Mrs. Looney said. Both have been with the Travis Chapter and the Auxiliary for about five years.

Looney, a graduate of Beaumont High School, attended Lamar Junior College and was graduated from the University of Texas with a BS in civil engineering in 1940, after serving with the 1948. (Mrs. Looney was graduated Richland Springs i School and later taught at that ame school. She attended University of Texas. Mr.

KETCHUM Funeral services for Mrs. J. Ketchum, 66, were held at'2 Sunday, Oct. 16, at Chapel, conducted by the Rev. W.

E. Comstock, pastor of Assembly of God, with burial made in Ebony Cemetery, Mills county, under direction of Howell-Doran funeral directors. Mrs. Ketchum died at 8:40 pan. Oct.

Sallie McNutt Herring. She married to J. P. Ketchum on, Mac. 8, 1911, at Comanche.

She had resided in San Saba for the past 2fr years. She was a member of Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her six sons, Elvin Ketchum of Corpus Christi, Lee and Ollie of San, Saba, Lonnie and James of San. Antonio and Howard Ketchum. of, Denver City; two daughters, Marie Ketchum of San Saba andlfm- Albert Human of Crane; fifteen grandchildren and one great- grandchild; four sisters, Mrs.
