ESPN analyst and Iowa Speedway architect Rusty Wallace spent a couple of hours Thursday afternoon walking around the track he designed with the man set to begin overseeing its operations. NASCAR approached Fritz in 1999 about taking control of the Richmond International Raceway when the track was purchased by International Speedway Corporation.
