At the time the first was drawn up, some weeks ago, Sandy and Provo were also scheduled to play on May 9, but at a later meeting of managers of the loop this game was moved up to May 13. Both the Mines and Gemmell teams, lost opening games last Sunday. Hoisum routed the Mine crew, 11 to 5, and Lefty Cole, Provo ace, held the Clubmen to seven hits, registering a 6'to 3 triumph. Alvin Shafer, who was batted off the mound in the inning by the slugging Holsum crew, may start against the Gemmell crew. Tom Hogan will catch.
