Salsbury was born in Western, Nebraska, on June 12, 1916. He JOHN RUSSELL "RUSS" HUNTER Clever, MO John Russell "Russ" Hunter, 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, in his home. Russ is survived by his wife, Kathy; six children and their spouses, Jeff and Missy Hunter, Kim and Fred Caruthers, Karla and Stacy Soper, Phil and Kim Overstreet, Kevin and Crissy Overstreet, and Mandy and Josh Hunter; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Vera Reves, Carolyn Knoll, and Kay Warford. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Summer, and his parents. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m.

Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Meadors Funeral Home, Clever. There will be a private burial, for family only, on Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 2.30 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Debra was born April 6, 1962 in Des Moines to Shirley and Donald Ritchie. She worked at Victorian Acres in the resident care area. Debra loved being with her family and friends.

Debra is survived by her daughter, Samantha Ursula Marshall, her mother, Shirley A. Brown, 82, died at her daughter's home in rural Dallas County on Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 26 at Glendale Cemetery. Bettie was born June 4, 1926 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Paul and Dora Musselman and moved to Des Moines as a young girl. Her mother died early in her childhood and her older sister, Lucille cared for Bettie until her father remarried. Her family relocated around Des Moines and she attended Lincoln and North High Schools and graduated from Des Moines Tech High School, where she enjoyed the art programs and the Glee Club. Following school Bettie worked at Maxim's Photo Studio tinting photos.

Bettie's close friends, Jeanne and Lloyd Clark introduced her to Kenneth H. Brown, a World War II veteran and on June 23, 1946, in Dexter, IA, they were married. Bettie and Kenneth were very generous with anything they had and were always helping others. Bettie was a devoted and loving wife, caring for her husband during his illness the last twelve years of his life. She was also a devoted and loving mother who was very active in her children's lives, including Boy and Girl Scouts, Blue Birds and church choir.

She was also a very talented artist, seamstress, cook and baker. Bettie retired from Drake University where she worked as a receptionist and a house mother to the students. Bettie is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Teri Ryerson (Reed); son, Jerry Brown (Diane); granddaughter, Stephanie Stoltz and great granddaughter, Selena Stoltz. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, Kenneth; daughter, Prudy Stoltz, sisters, Lucille Lid-dicoat and Pauline Galardi and her best friend and sister for over 40 years, Dot Massey. Betty was also very close to her niece, Dora Earp (deceased) and her nephew, Donald Liddi-coat.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Iowa Asthma Coalition or the American Heart Association. Following the service, her body will be cremated and burial of her cremains will be in the Mineral Ridge Cemetery in Ridgeport at a later date.

Friends may call at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall in Boone on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. where the family will be present from 6.30 to 8 p.m. The casket will be closed. lyjfym 'f 'm. in Mona Rose Enabnit crossed over to be with her Heavenly Father on July, 20, 2008, at the age of 93, after a heroic battle with cancer. Services will be held Friday, July 25, at Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. She was born in Cambridge, Iowa, August 16, 1914 and later moved with her family to Maxwell, Iowa where she attended high school. She is the oldest daughter of Henry James McPherson and Ethel Gathwell (Ballard) McPherson.

She is the great, great-great-granddaughter of Mormon Ballard, the co-founder of Story County, Iowa which was first settled by Mormon and his brother, Dan Ballard in 1847. Mona Rose was preceded in death by her sister, Colleen Lorraine McPherson. She leaves behind one daughter, Cean Jo (Enabnit) Wang and husband Dr. George Y. Wang and one grandson, Jason Karl Wang of Spokane, Washington.

After completing high school, Mona Rose and her family moved to Des Moines, Iowa where she later met and married Oliver Noble Enabnit. They were later divorced and she never re-married. Mona Rose worked many jobs over the years in Des Moines. She told stories about them, one of the first being an usher in a theater and watching the famous fan dancer, Sally Rand perform live on stage. She worked at Sears for many years as a retail clerk and at her cousin's restaurant "Stanton's on 6th Avenue." She also worked at the Imperial House Restaurant on Ingersol Avenue.

Mona Rose was involved in many functions at Grace Methodist Church in Des Moines. She loved her vegetable garden, her flowers and especially her red roses. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Horizon Hospice of Spokane, Washington. Bacon Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Dean died on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines due to pulmonary fibrosis and pneumonia. received his Bachelor of Science degree at Iowa State University in 1938, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at ISU in 1940. His father began Salsbury Laboratories in 1926, and after graduating John joined the company, working in many departments over the years. In 1945 he became vice president and general manager of the firm, was named president in 1960, and in 1971 became chairman of the company when his eldest son, Doug, became president. He retired in November 1982. During his working years, John was also very involved in organizations beyond the lab.

He was president of the American Poultry Historical Society and the Animal Health Institute, chairman of the American Egg Board, and director of the Iowa State University Foundation, the National Association of Manufacturers, the National Broiler Council, and the Southeastern Poultry and Egg Association. He was a member of the World's Poultry Science Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Society of Parasitologists, the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association, and the Poultry Science Association. He was also the president of the Chamber of Commerce and the Lions Club in Charles City, Iowa, and was active in Boy Scouts of America, for which he received the Silver Beaver Award. After his retirement, he had time to pursue a favorite hobby and became a fine craftsman and miniaturist, building many doll-houses which his wife, Doris, decorated. His wife of 66 years is Doris J.

Brunner-Salsbury. They have five children: Douglas E. Salsbury of Whitehall, MT; Craig B. Salsbury of Fairbanks, AK; Debra Feintech of Portland, ME; Barbara J. Leduc of Omaha, NE; and Rebecca A.

Miller of Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Salsbury is a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Dillon, MT. He and his wife live in Bozeman, MT.
