Children Send 1.07 to Red Cross to Help Poor AURORA, III. (AP)-The Aurora chapter of the American Red received a letter that radiated the warmth of a child's heart. "We are a group of children who have formed a club," it read. "We have been collecting dues and now have $1.07 in our treasury. We are sending the $L07 to you to help the poor people of the world.

(AP)-Three sons of Chicago industrialist Henry Crown have given Northwestern University more than $2.5 million for construction of a new administration building.

Dr. J. Roscoe Miller, president, said Monday the building, which will house the school's executive and business offices, will be named Rebecca Crown Memorial Hall in honor of Crown's late wife. Miller said the construction will be made possible by a gift from John, Lester and Robert Crown. Exact amount of the gift was not disclosed.

The senior Crown is chairman of the Material Service Division of General Dynamics Corp. His sons, Robert and Lester, are vice presidents of the division, and John Crown is a Chicago attorney. Miller said the four-story building will be completed 18 months after the city of Evanston and the university work out an agreement on a trade of real estate to consolidate the school's south campus. The research grants are award ed as part of the $15 million program of the society which is being carried on in over 150 labora tories throughout the nation. The fellowships are part of another national program of the society, which has helped train over 1,222 physicians on specialized aspects of cancer diagnosis and treat ment. Both programs are supported by funds raised during the society's annual April Crusade against cancer.

More Lawyers Are Needed, Says New Head of State Bar (Gazette Madison Bureau) law schools are falling behind in producing graduate lawyers in sufficient numbers to meet population expansion, John C. Whitney, Green Bay, head) of the State Bar of Wisconsin, said today the official publication of the organization. Whitney discussed current affairs of the organization in his first editorial as president of the bar. He was elected a year ago, and took over the office formally a month ago. Whitney also commented on the recent decision of the U.

S. Supreme Court, validating the state law which sets up the compulsory membership organization heads, and pledged that its leadership will so conduct its affairs "that even the opponents of integration will ultimately applaud the Supreme Court's decision." The bar leader disclosed that the organization during his administration will concentrate on an intensive program of legal problems research, involving both substan-, tive and procedural law, and intensified program of post-grad- education for lawyers. Whitney announced a series of major bar committee appointments for the next year, including several new committee chairmanships. Among the new committee chairmen are Charles F.
