Ellott treasurer, all ra-elceted. Elliott will be serving his thirteenth year, Boyce Martin over fifteen years, and Brown over eight years. The name of J. A. Young has been sent to headquarters for a life membership on the board, and at a later date a special meeting will honor Young an'd Elliott, who will receive special recognition from the national organization.

At the close of the meeting, Major W. M. Carter, in charg-e, and Mrs. Carter served fruit cake and punch. Major Carter made his annual report.

He recently was awarded a special star in recognition for his long service. He will be eligible for retirement next year. The report showed over $9,000 had been spent for all purposes, $4500 of which comes from the Community Chest. The report showed many items of activity, especially among the poor during the past year.
