Halliburton 1 run (Summers kick), :47. Surprising Kansas 6-0, avenges loss ASSOCIATED PRESS Lawrence, Kan. Todd Reesing threw two touchdown passes and Jake Sharp rushed for 1 10 yards and another score, leading No. 20 Kansas past Baylor 58-10 Saturday in a game delayed more than two hours by lightning and heavy rain. The victory gave Kansas (6-0, 2-0 Big 12) its first 6-0 record since the 1995 team started 7-0 and avenged one of its most embarrassing losses of 2006.

The Bears (3-4, 0-3), who shocked Kansas last year by coming back from an 18-point deficit for a one-point win, managed only 202 total yards. The Jay-hawks' pass defense, which last year ranked dead last among major college teams and got torched for 394 yards at Baylor, yielded just 154 yards through the air this time. Reesing was 14 of 31 for 184 yards, including touchdown strikes of 10 yards to Dezmon Briscoe and 54 yards to Marcus Henry. Reesing tied the school record with a touchdown pass in his sixth straight games. With 16 touchdown passes for the season, the 5-foot-9 sophomore needs only three more to break the school single-season record.

Oklahoma State's win was just its second all-time in Lincoln, and broke a 20-game Husker winning streak at home over the Cowboys. Oklahoma State's 38 points in the first half were four points shy of the Nebraska opponent record for most points in a first half (Colorado, 42, 2001).

The 38 points are the most allowed by Nebraska in the first half of a home game. best I can," said Callahan, 26-18 in four seasons. "Whatever happens, happens. I don't think you can coach in fear or coach like you're scared of something. I've never coached like that in my life.

I've been in this business for 30 years. I sure as hell ain't going to start right now." The Cowboys (4-3, 2-1), who had lost 20 straight games in Lincoln, scored on their first six possessions while getting out to a 38-0 halftime lead. That marked a stretch of six quarters where Nebraska was outscored 79-6. Dantrell Savage rushed for a career-high 212 yards and a touchdown, Julius Crosslin scored twice, and Zac Robinson ran and passed for touchdowns for the Cowboys. Their defense forced four punts and two turnovers in the first half.

By ERIC OLSON ASSOCIATED PRESS Lincoln, Neb. With Tom Osborne and members of his undefeated 1997 Nebraska team watching, Bill Callahan's current Cornhuskers took an historic beating. Oklahoma State pounded Nebraska 45-14 Saturday, the largest rout of the Huskers at home in 49 years. It was the first time since 1960 the Cowboys won at Memorial Stadium, and it came a week after Nebraska's 41-6 loss at Missouri. Callahan was disappointed for his players and the fans.

"They're just gutted," he said. Missouri's 31-0 win in 1958 was the previous most-lopsided home loss for Nebraska. Callahan, who signed a five-year contract last month, said he wasn't concerned about his job security. Just last season, Nebraska played in the Big 12 Conference title game. But the Huskers (4-3, 1-2 Big 12) have played uninspired football all season while becoming the first team in the program's 1 18-year history to surrender 40 points four times in the same season.

"I'm just going to do the "We played perfect football in the first half," Oklahoma State linebacker Rodrick Johnson said. "We did exactly what the coaches asked us to do, and in the second half we tried to continue." Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy knows about the Cowboys' futility in Lincoln, having quarterbacked them from 1986-89 in the days of the old Big Eight. "It means a lot," Gundy said. "I'm excited for the players because they're the ones who put in the effort and hard work." The Cowboys averaged 8.5 yards a play in the first half, then scaled back their offense after the game was safely in hand. They finished with 551 yards, their largest output in 42 all-time games against Nebraska.

Sam Keller passed for Nebraska's touchdowns, a 13-yarder to J.B. Phillips and a 1-yarder to Thomas Lawson. Nebraska freshman Quentin Castille rushed for 102 yards. Keller was 10-of-18 for 129 yards, with two interceptions. Robinson completed 12 of 19 passes for 234 yards, with Adarius Bowman catching six for 100.

Harrell, who was 30-of-37, had touchdown passes of 12, 28 and 8 yards, and none went to Michael Crabtree, his favorite target this season. Crabtree, who came into the game with a nation-leading 17 touchdown catches, had at least two scores in each of the first six games. Tech (6-1, 2-1 Big 12) held the Aggies (5-2, 2-1) scoreless the final three quarters. Harrell was visibly shaken up late in the second quarter after taking what appeared to be a late hit. No flag was thrown when Aggies defensive lineman Von Miller clobbered Harrell in the right side a couple of seconds after Harrell threw toward Shannon Woods.

Referee Tom Walker's microphone remained on after announcing the incompletion to Woods. He immediately turned to Harrell and asked, PASSING C-A Yds TP Harrell, TT 30-37 425 3 McCoy, Texas 23-30 298 4 Reesing, Kansas 14-31 186 1 Szymanski, Baylor 18-33 119 0 McGee, 17-30 133 0 RUSHING Att. Tech went on to score on the drive to go up 2 1-7 just before halftime, and Harrell finished the game. Despite not catching a touchdown pass, Crabtree displayed his speed and agility on two catches on slants across the middle, one for 54 yards in the second quarter and a 47-yarder in the fourth quarter with Tech already up 28-7.

He had eight catches for 170 yards, just off his per-game average of 179. Tech's prolific offense started slowly, failing to score in the first quarter. The last time the Red Raiders didn't score until the second quarter was in their record-setting, 31 -point comeback win (44-41) against Minnesota in last year's Insight Bowl. The Aggies had some chances to keep it close, but they couldn't close drives. When the drives stalled, kicker Matt Szymanski struggled, missing field goals of 41 yards and 33 yards in the first half.
