ft SVECiAL Federation Will Have May Meeting Polk County Federation of Women's Clubs will have its May meeting Tuesday at Hoyt Sherman place. Mrs. Ralph Hall will preside and Mrs. William Mack will present Mrs. Dot Jackson who will give the Invocation.

Greetings will be given by Mrs. Frank Root of Des Moines, and Mrs. C. A. Bonnewell of Altoona will respond.

Officers will be elected and yearly reports made. Mrs. D. R. Gaudineer will conduct the election and tellers will be Mesdames Lloyd Howard, Fred Reynolds, Foster Webb, Harold Frederick, J.

C. Haley, Joe Tufts, Everett Millhone, Jack Brooks, Milt Hall, and Ray Robertson, Mrs. Alex Ledlie and her com mittee will be in charge of the afternoon program. Mrs. John Abild will present Mrs.

Stanley Champion and Mary Elizabeth Ledlie, who will sing. Scenes from light opera will be given under the direction of Syl-pha Snook. A male quartet from Roosevelt High school will sing. Members are John Stolen, Robert Barger, William Dutcher and John Hultine. John Stolen will play a bass solo, accompanied by Sylva Haworth and Eloine Weaver will sing.

Other members of the committee are Mesdames Pritchard Pay-seur, P. W. McClung, C. H. Elliott and Phil Nordstrom.

Luncheon reservations should be made with Mrs. O. R. Rydell, 3906 E. Twenty-ninth st.
