4 fHE MUSCATINE JOURNAL MUSCATINI, IOWA Grandview Club Slipper Honors New teachers Grandview New teachers at 1he school were honored by the Community club at a potluck supper Monday night, served by the King's Daughters Sunday school class at the school lunch room. Approximately 160 were present. The new teachers 'are Mrs. Mildred Hook. Miss Nan Walsh and Melvin McDonald.

A business meeting and pro-, gram followed the supper. Lester Wide reported that small sum remained from the July 4 celebration, which will be used for park improvement. Mrs. Hazel reported that new telephone books will be available for distribution in a few weeks. Guy Hardman, Bert Thompson Howard Cbcklin are members of the committee to investigate roads used as school bus routes.

Members of the school board arid their wives will have charge of the program to be presented at the next meeting of the club Nov. 8, in keeping with the observance of Education Week. Officers will be elected at this time. Members of the nominating committee are Mrs. Guy HanJman, Mrs.
