Mr.

JOSEPH FRANCIS KAZIMIR Age 80, of 110 Shore Ct North Palm Beach, passed away Friday morning February 5, 1988, after a brief Illness. Mr. Kazimir was a resident of this area since 1970 coming from Yonkers, N.Y., where he was an Administrative Assistant with the Warden at Sing Sing Prison in Ossining, for 37 years. He was also associated with the Metropolitan Golf Association prior to moving to Florida, a veteran of World War serving with the U.S. Navy and a member of St Clare's Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge 2069 (BPOE) North Palm Beach.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Jean a son, Donald Kazimir of North Palm Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Fries of Carefree, Ariz, and Ms. Christine Kazimir of New York City; two brothers, George and Phillip Kazimir of Yonkers, N.Y. "HOME OF SPA MAN" The Associated Press KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. -John Grist Brainerd, an engineer who helped usher in the computer age by heading a team that designed the world's first electronic computer amid wartime secrecy, died Monday at age 83.

Former director of the Moore School of Electrical Engineering, Mr. Brainerd headed a University of Pennsylvania team that designed and assembled ENIAC, a calculator that weighed 30 tons and contained 18,000 electronic tubes. The machine was designed for such tasks as aiming missiles and long-range guns while taking into account variables such as temperature, wind and Earth movement. Atom bomb plant manager COLUMBUS, Ohio Richard A. Popham, former plant manager of CLASSIFIED JOSEPH FRANCIS CREW Born July 29, 1921 in Brooklyn, N.Y., died January 31, 1988 in West Palm Beach.

He was the eldest of five children of David and Margaret Crew. After graduation from Lake Mahopac NY High School in 1938 he became an apprentice electrician and worked with his father until he joined the Air Corps, in 1940. With the 422nd Night Fighter Squadron of the 8th Air Force, he served as radar observer gunner In the Europe Theatre of Operations. He was awarded the air medal, the Distinguished Service Cross, the Des-tinguished Flying Cross, both with Clusters, and the Purple Heart. He earned four bronze surs on his Europeon Theatre Service Ribbon.

After VE Day, Joseph was assigned to Hammer Field, Fresno. Calif, as an instructor. Before reporting for duty, he was married in June, 1945 to Trudy Fordyce of Dayton, Ohio. After his discharge from the Air the Crews settled in Miami, where Joseph began a long career as a chef. He became Executive Chef of Quail Ridge Country Club and remained there until 1979.

Joseph was a communicant of St. Ann's Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He Is survived by his widow Trudy; a son Michael Crew; his brothers, David and Alfred, i A Mass of the Christian Buriel will be held at St. Ann's Church on Saturday February 6th at 1PM.

LUWAHU H. CUTLAMP Edward H. Cotcamp of Tampa, Florida passed away of natural causes on Thursday, February 4, 1988 in Tampa. lr. Cotcamp was born May 6, 1904 and he was a retired coal miner from Charleston, West Virginia.

He formerly lived in Palm Springs. Florida and he was a member of the Victory Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, Florida. Mr. Cotcamp is survived by his wife, Ellen Cotcamp; four children. Leonard M.
