July Scrivnef of Scandia had an object removed from his eye. Junior Mills, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mills, received a cut below his chin on a weed stub and was treated. Vic Young who was hit on right temple at the ball park was treated for a bump.

July McCarty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don McCarty of Belleville had stitches taken on upper lip. He received lacerations when he fell against the bed. July 28--E.

E. Holmberg of Wayne received lacerations in forehead and stitches were taken. James Huffman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norton Huffman of Belleville fell from a horse and fractured his clavicle.

He still in the hospital. James Hockey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hockey of Scandia, had stitches taken on his head when he ran into a door cutting his head. Ronald Janasek, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Earl Janasek of Munden was given treatment after injuring his right foot. July Viiginia Inskeep of Belleville fell through a hole in a truck bed and injured her right leg. She is still in the hospital. Dicke, daughter of Mr.

and Mis. Elmer Dicke fell and injured left wrist, a cast was applied. Junior Mills, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hills, fell on a plumbing pipe and cut his forehead and was treated.

July McFillen, son of Mr. and Mrs. McFillen was brought in for treatment after in- injuring his nose in the swimming pool. August Shorney of Narka received cuts from barbed wire on his right leg and stitches were taken. A Philip Allen, was born to itjr.

RESIDENT HALL SCHOLAR Ann Fahrbach, 1956 graduate of Belleville high school, has been awarded a residence hall scholarship at Matkins hall Kansas university for the coming year, according to Miss Mary Peg Hardman, assistant dean of women. The university operates the scholarship halls on a cooperative basis in which the women share all household duties and costs. This provides individual room and board at a cash saving of about $oOO a year over charges for comparable accomotations. LYON TO IOWA MARKET Louis (Lou) Lyon, 40, former Belleville Safeway store manager, took over the management of the Vinton Fareway supermarket at Vinton, this week. Lyon has been with the Fareway corporation for two years.

He went to Vinton from Cherokee he was with the Safeway company for 18 years in Kansas and Nebraska stores.
