Narka Spttag Tour A highlight of the Narka 4-H club toui' held on Jufne 14, was the weight contest conducted by Joe Fiala, community leader. Pigs, cattle, sheep aiid dairy calves were before the tour and weights were' guessed by club members. Dale Cehiy won the' boys contest and Sharon Brabec had the most nearly correct total weight for girls. Ptojects visited were: Dale ahd Dean Cerny; Beef, both baby beef and breeding heifer at "Bfllie HolloWays; Turkeys, chickens and hohie grounds beautification at Frankie and Freddy Shomeys; Dairy projects and chickens at Ed and Louis Slaviks; Home garden at Marlene Chopps: Sheep at Gary Safzigers; Beef projects at Frank Filinger Larry Knedlik showed his baby beef and fat barrow; Sue Knedlik showed her home garden and Mike Knedlik showed his fat lambs. At Blechas they saw Elosise garden and calf.

Dennis Peroutiks showed his rabbit project. Keith Thomas showed his baby beef and Nita Kvasnicka her poultity brooding project and Marvin Cossaart showed his pigs and Janice her brooding project. At Eugene'Peters they saw pigs, baby beef and Clarice showed her calf. At noon the club and their families enjoyed a picnic dinner jn the Narka City park. Gamett Zitaimeriy the ty office attended the tour.

After dinner we visited Jim Novotny 's sheep and Paul Novotny's calves. Beverly, Richard and Donald Mach sho'wed their calves and pigs. At Joleen Fiatas we enjoyed her lambs. At Beesons they Saw Pat Anns geefte and Larry's chickens and dairy calf. At Polaks they saw Jim 's dairy calf and pigs anil Mary Lee's chickens.

Lavon Milner showed hts pig and Kerwin his lambs, they also saw a brooding project. Jim and Judy Cemy showed fat pigs, Jim his heifers and Judy her brooding project. Gloria Smith showed her ducks. We stopped to see Itose Marie Graham's twin calves from her cow, and at Vernona Harengergers we looked at her fat pigs. Elaine Pelesky showed her brooding Cerny, reporter.
